Don't do it! I "traded" my built Z for a TBSS and while I enjoyed the TBSS it was no substitute. My Z was paid for too and regret not just taking on another payment if need be, especially w/the money I had in mine. ugh.

I am not looking to "replace" the Z with a TBSS. I know that is impossible. I just want something to have fun in and haul the family around.

If anything that is what the TBSS is "fun". Mine has just a cat-back and CAI. I put an Alpine touch screen head unit with sub/amp. It's a nice change from the wife's Maxima You should be able to pick a really nice one up for yourself but..... I will worn you that AWD's are not fuel friendly I get 12 around town and maybe 16 or 17 on a good highway run. I don't know about 2 whl. Just FYI.

If the car doesn't sell soon I'll either rebuild the transmission and raise the price or part the car out until it's nearly stock then sell at a reduced price.

Just worked out a deal for to trade my truck for a TBSS today. No longer taking trades.
Wasn't my car. I just used it for an avatar pic. I was going to buy some SP500's but decided against it.

All LSX motors burn oil to some extent, They burn a little more the higher they get up in milage... LS2's are very known for burning oil...

I live in Az., would I have any problems driving home with it? Can you pm me with the details on the shifting issues? I have a 03 that has 2nd gear problem. Just can be at high rims when shifting into 2nd. Anyway I'm going to call around today for price quotes for performance trans rebuild cost. So when I get home with it ,it will go right into shop to get trans fixed. How's the clutch, will it need replaced while there in there??

a bent shift fork, would affect a gear, maybe a set but id 2rd and 6th are doing ti both thats 2 forks. just saying. also a bent fork normally either over shifts, or under-shifts causing gears to pop out, or shift past the pressed keys that come stock and getting stuck in a gear (over shift).
the not going into gear, on 2 differnt sets of forks, sounds like scyncors. a whole set of carbon fiber syncos is under 250 bucks, just need them installed.

The trans doesn't overshift. If it's not totally in gear, it will pop out when you release the clutch. But, if you feel it catch in gear, everything operates normally when the clutch is released. I typically drive the car without using second and just go straight to third, just to keep it from getting any worse. The car has plenty of torque and pulls just fine in 3rd from low speeds. And 6th I only use on interstate.
