FS: 2002 Corvette Z06, Quicksilver, Florida
SALE IS ON HOLD
SORRY IF I HAVE MISSED YOUR CALL OR YOUR PM.
SORRY IF I HAVE MISSED YOUR CALL OR YOUR PM.
Hello everyone. Due to a change in income, I am putting my 2002 Corvette up for sale. This post is more or less to see what to expect in terms of interest. The car will be available for sale within the next 1 to 2 weeks. This car has only seen Premium fuel and Mobil 1 fluids. Is this a perfect car? No. Is the car mechanically sound with some appearance issues? Yes. It was my Daily Driver for 4 years and it never let me down.
Autocheck as a PDF: http://www.mediafire.com/?aj2mj35ws29wzjc
CarFax as a PDF: http://www.mediafire.com/?o0e5x484ro4li5p
Basics:
Located in Orlando, Florida
I have owned the car for 4 years, purchased in December of 2007

Engine oil filter changed with Mobil 1 recommended oil filter size
CryoStop rotors installed 75,000 miles
Hawks Street pads installed 75,000 miles
Toyo T1R tires installed 1 year ago, about 30/40% life remaining

MGW Shifter and shift ****
Oil-catch can, red anodized aluminum
Column-lock bypass installed, relay bypassed

Window tint, professionally installed
HID retrofit kit installed. Can be replaced with regular bulbs if you like.
Additional stuff, parts etc that will be included:
4 red anodized aluminum jacking pucks
Manual, binder, Corvette pen, tire pressure checker
2 keys, both with FOBs
Set of plastic window trim, still in the box, values about $300 from GM
The bad:
Passenger headlight motor gear stripped. Will probably replace before a sale, but just in case i cant get to it, you now know.
Wheels are original and do have rash on them, scratches etc. The car was my DD so the wheels reflect that.
Some light scratches on the body, mostly around driver door from entering/leaving the vehicle
Driver side HVAC mixer doesn't work, it is stuck on cold. Will probably replace before a sale, but just in case i cant get to it, you now know.
Plastic window trim above windows has "the crack". Does NOT leak, but I have the replacements which I will include with the car if they ever do, $300 value.

Added pictures! If they're too large let me know and I will resize them.
I will post close-ups of the scratches I was talking about tomorrow when the sun is back up.

Hey guys, I updated with pictures on areas that may be of concern. I took them while preparing the car for a wash and dried the noted areas so that they can be more easily viewed. Pictures of the ever-common trim crack are there as well, and like I said in my original post, I DO have replacements as well as the strip-caulk to install it with, which I can include with the car. However, the price I listed above includes everything, but I can negotiate on the price as well as what comes with the car to help with the price.
I have placed an order for the headlight gear and will be ordering the HVAC door controller tomorrow and will replace them, and will update my original post when I do so sometime next week.
Also as noted in original post, the car will not be available for sale for at least a week out from today. I am hunting for a replacement vehicle as well as changing jobs over the next week and it will stressful and busy. Thanks for understanding!
A few people asked where I am located. I in the Orlando area, specifically Maitland/Altamonte Springs. I usually say Orlando because everyone knows where that is.

Hey guys, I got some PMs about running a CarFax and for the VIN number.
In my original post I have added a CarFax report AND a AutoCheck report just to cover bases. They are PDF files. The VIN is in both reports, and I can take a picture of the VIN on the car if there are any doubts
