If you have a built/boosted C5 that you have considered selling this might be of interest to you. This is not for me but a close friend of mine is not a forum member and I figured I would do him the courtesy of helping him in his search. $27k max to spend but $25k and under is much better. Z06's STRONGLY preferred. 6 speeds are a must. Must be a ZERO issue car. Not looking for a project or a fixer upper whatsoever. Needs to be streetable and have working air conditioning. All colors will be considered. No cars over 50k miles. Don't tell me I can't find what I'm looking for in this range because there are dozens....yes dozens and it's a buyers market. my car is a 100% daily driven monster and built to handle that. i have every receipt for all the work and parts in this car which totals over $45,000 and no, by no means does that mean its a trailer queen and cant see the rain. all the good stuff is under the hood!

i have the car set to run a light methanol tune(1 gal last's 2 weeks) and even if it were to run out the car will not explode( ie the car is tuned for safety not all out max)

with that said it made a conservative 673rwhp 638ft lbs
have done a couple track passes to see where it was at best run 10.8@131mph

the reason im parting with it, im military and have been stationed in south GA for 5 years and can drive my car year round. i have just got orders and im afraid i wont be able to daily drive my car anymore, and i need something that can. this car has taken me back and forth to my home in ohio a couple times and to new jersey and back with out one hick-up.

The answer to that question is quite simple.... Because not everyone that has a car fitting my criteria that they are willing to sell has it advertised. By creating this thread I've opened the door to owners who don't feel like posting and ad and would rather just deal with someone whom they know wants what they have.... And can actually follow through with buying it. Crazy huh

People are haters haha I'm sure he is looking for cars as well as posting. It's a buyers market sellers will flock to buyers with money so why not take advantage and have them come to you?

It's got a new LSX motor in it, under 5k. And like 20 some odd on the body. Built for boost, but not boosted. Still in your budget if you did, and wouldn't need to worry about someones turbo issues. Probably the sickest Vette on here in my opinion. I want it. Lol

I have a 99 fixed roof coupe c5, 6 speed. Its torch red with a black interior. Has a forged internal 383 with ported and polished heads and mild blower cam. Has a D1SC procharger with twin intercoolers, Kooks 1 7/8 headers and x pipe. Also running Alky methanol kit (Above 5 psi) and borla exhaust. Clutch is a Spec twin disc with RPM blow proof bell housing, trans is a RPM level 5, Rear Rpm level 3+. Driveshaft updated to The Driveshaft Shop 3 inch shaft with updated couplers. Upgraded half shafts. Racetronix fuel pump. Z06 Chrome wheels. Car was professionally built and tuned. Tuning done by Jeremy Formato (Faster Proms). The engine and drivetrain have around 9000 miles since built. Car made 614 rwhp and 532 torque at 10 psi boost. Has WCC rear wide body kit. A/C blows cold. All other power options work Pioneer cd/mp3 player. Asking $24900 Car drives like a normal c5 and gets around 27MPG. Call 717 577 8596 for more details.
