I have had the car since Nov 08’……Joe Cruz’s old car…….The car burned oil under acceleration and had a slight lower end noise when I bought it and has since spun a rod bearing is my best guess. I have put less than 2K miles on it. I installed a LS6 PCV system, valve cover breather, OEM 90mm LS2 TB with a plug-n-play wiring harness, had CAM tune it for drivability and have fixed the rear glass with RHINO GLUE. It starts and ran great. I have boroscoped all the cylinders, they are ok. Found no metal. Body has 64,274 miles, motor/clutch less than 3K. I drove this from FL to VA w/o issue. 22mpg and all accessories worked fine.
Paint is a 9 out of 10 as it has a few small scraps from storage by the prior owner.
Inside is very nice.
The car runs but does make a loud screeching noise at times, oil pressure is fine. If it doesn’t sell, I will rip out the drive train to fix it as the 97' is finally off the lift!........time to work on the vette is in short supply
$17K Title in hand

Not belts.........the engine will lug down once warm.
Still a good price even if you have to spend 2K to get the rotating assembly correct. Lots of upgrades and the car itself make it worth the 17K

I can't say, all depends on how much it costs to fix.
Its a LOT of fun to drive so it will be a while before I think about selling it once its fixed
