Don't trade this nice car for a C5. At least post on the C6 forum and trade for a C6. 2006 Z06s can be found for $40K or less. Trade for at least a 2008 C6 coupe.

Call me a scholar for reading but I believe the man is looking for a big DOWN PAYMENT for a house.... not a vehicle comparable in price....

Agreed that you can find a C6 for a reasonably cheap price and STILL have a good down for a house (depending on sale price of course!). There's an 05' 6SPD coupe in TX that's arctic white with like 80K on it for 23K (you could pick it up for 20 probably). That leaves a good chunk left!

Good move on the real estate man. You can't sleep in a Shelby (well you can but your spine would hate you!)

Do these mods void the powertrain warrenty?

Also my brother picked up a 2010 Shelby, dark grey with silver stripes. All options you have (nav, hid, etc) with no mods. 3k miles for $41,000 about a month ago from a dealer in Wisconsin. The car is absolutely flawless.

I know nothing about the shelby pricing other than what he got his car for (i realize he got a pretty good deal and found it after weeks of research). If you are looking for a quick sale you may have to come down a bit. Also make sure you have it on autotrader/cars.com/and the various mustang forums.

Personally i think that dark blue is the best color on these shelbys and your car is very badass.

I hate that Ford, when doing the front end update, made the cars looking crosseyed. Pulling the lights inward made the car less aggressive and "dumb" looking. Someone needs to make an aftermarket setup relocating that.

Cars a beast though...700+ horsies...she ain't slow...
