2002 C5 Twin Turbo Z06. In September 2009, I purchased this car from Mike Carnahan at Vengeance Racing. In March of 2010, I had Proline Race Engines and Vengeance Racing install a new 416 cubic inch LS3 stroker. At that time, Vengeance upgraded the turbos on the TTi Twin Turbo Extreme kit to be both liquid and oil cooled. This car makes 1000HP and at 14 lbs of boost is 830 RWHP/790 RWTQ through a stalled RPM Level V 4L60E automatic conversion transmission. The car has 6000 miles on the fresh LS3 and turbos. In excess of 100hrs of data logging has been performed by Mike Carnahan at Vengeance. As such, the car drives stock until you roll into the throttle. Not only is this a fun street car, but would be an excellent platform for a Texas Mile car. While the engine is capable of more power, the boost is limited by the size of the TTi pipes etc. and could make more power with a custom set up. I have never tracked the car or set it above channel one ( 12 lbs boost limit) on the Blitz Boost Controller. Car currently has 42,000 miles on it and only 6000 miles on new engine.

Can this car be daily driven with normal maintenance and oil changes?

Yes it can... When I first brought it home I drove it everyday for approx the first two months. One of the criteria when it was built was that not only could it be driven everyday, but that if I wanted to jump in the car and drive across the country that it could be able to do it. In addition, I wanted something that didn't needs to be constantly wrenched on. Thanks to the tremendous abilities of ProLine and Vengeance, that is what has been built. It is one of the reasons that the data logging was so extensive. While I haven't taken it across country,I have driven it on several 6-8 hour trips as well as normal stop and.go traffic. As you probably know, due to the turbos, under normal driving, turbos are just along for the ride and are not spooling up. The engine is then operating like any NA motor. Before I leave the house, I check the oil and the methanol level. That will be what I would tell anyone who buys this car. Except for the very crisp shifts by the tranny, it is.pretty easy to feel like your in a stock corvette. Ok,lol, maybe the car rocking slightly at idle will remind you along with the stares, but it was built with that in mind. Even.in maximum boost for this kit it is still many.lbs of boost below what the motor was built to take. Everything works and the air blows cold and with a flick of the right foot your in another dimension...
