My old complaint is the back end while driving feels very floaty/loose. It moves a lot from side to side while on the highway. I wondered if it was because of 1) the bigger tires and the grooves in the road or 2) an issue with the rear.

I also thought it was bone stock but when I did the smog, it has a black wing intake. I am going to take it to LVMS next weekend to see what she can do

Greg

Did you ever figure out what was going on with the rear end and what were the LVMS results?

My guess would be an alignment, suspension setup issue. The car appears lowered to some extent but sits nose high. Poor alignment after lowering, front toe out, rear toe out...all these things can make a car wander in some ways.

Car looks amazingly clean...and I generally don't like red cars. I'll be watching this car for sure if my March 19th deal falls through for any reason.

I never ran it at the track...I have a baby due any day and have been very busy.

I really got used to car and dont even think of the rear end anymore. I never had a chance for another Z06 driver in the car to tell me if it was normal or not.

I thought it was stock suspension but after looking at other cars, it doesnt seem to be stock.

Any possibility that you could snap some pics of the suspension to see what may be aftermarket?

not sure if this helps, but when i had a 98 convertible that was lowered on stock bolts, and then i swapped the suspension to Z06 shocks, the front sat higher than the rear...
