Someone please take this car off the market soon. I've been losing sleep over this for 5 days.

34k miles, show car quality, and around 500 horses (at the flywheel). This thing is a steal for the price.

My loan didn't go through because I just started a new job and was denied. It's still up for grabs!

Happy New Year!

The car is still available but I'm in no rush as to make sure both parties are happy. Huge thanks to Jeff in KC for helping me understand the fault codes which are listed below as well as the vehicle history report. I will be working on the cure for the codes this coming week. Sorry guys, I can't come down off the price. It's firm at $17,000 less half of out of state trans which could be as much as a grand depending on where the buyer is.

Thanks,
Tommy Marquez

Tommy,

Most of the codes are looking like they will take minimal work to resolve. Tuning out the F45 will get rid of the "service ride control, shocks inoperative, do not exceed 80mph". Should also eliminate the Two RTD codes (C0589HC is "left rear solenoid circuit open" and C0594HC is the right side. "HC" means the problem is both historical and current)

Some of the codes appeared to be battery related. Did you have a dead battery, or recently replace the battery?

The LDCM and RDCM codes B2282H and B2284H are "battery #1 fault" and battery #2 fault". The TCS code C1236H is "low system supply voltage".

Both of the RFA codes U1000H and U1225H are communications malfunctions (class II) "Loss of communication undetermined".

Beautiful car.

Quick question and I didn't see it in the post. Can the car be smogged in California?

Comp Cam 224/228. You'll have to search for the lift/duration specs. It's a fairly mild cam. Just a tad of lopiness at idle.

This car will be missed being my first reward purchase to myself for reaching some success of my business back in 2003. I'm glad to see that it is going to a good home.

Congrats on the buy! This is a great buy. In my talks about the car with Tommy he was going above and beyond to make sure the buyer was getting a solid car.

Enjoy Brian!

Default Thanks

I just wanted to update this thread, as the car arrived via reliable carriers in pristine condition on sunday!

Tommy (Frenchian) was amazing, extremely hospitable and very friendly, picked me up at the airport and even put me up in a hotel for the night! The car was absolutely perfect. It was even better than the pics show. I even got chauffeured around by the coolest chick ever! Hi Jen!

Driving this corvette around the mountains in LA was the most fun a man can have in the middle of January. I am really lucky to have been able to find such an amazing corvette.

I can only hope to take as good care of it as Tommy has!

Here are some more pictures:

Thank you again Tommy for the great experience and the great car! If anyone does any dealings with Tommy in the future feel comfortable knowing he is a very stand up guy. I know he still has his beautiful c6z!

WOOOOOOOO! MELT SNOW! MELT! (Hello from Michigan)

Thanks for the great comments Brian,

You were the kind of buyer I was hoping to find when I started this. Enjoy the car as it was meant to be, not parked in a garage most of its life. Congrats my friend!

Cheers,
Tommy Marquez

PS: Sorry about the detail spray exploding in the back. When I put the kit together for you I hadn't even thought of the freezing temps there.
