FS: 2001 convertible White/Black/Red, in AZ
2001 Corvette convertible, auto, white with black soft top, red interior. Only has 22k miles. Fully optioned car, HUD, Select ride, disc player in trunk, everything.
I am second owner, we purchased from college profesor in Illinois with only 12k miles on it. He had all service done at the original purchasing Chevy dealer. Always garaged, adult driven. Clean sweet Corvette. Interior is pristine. No wear showing, bolsters perfect.
I have been to a few shows, always get recognition with this car. It can be driven home any where in the US. Fly in to Phoenix and drive it home. I have done this before, it is a blast. We are going on a weekend trip soon so the mileage will change a little. Want to move to a C6 Z06, so reasonable offers will be considered.
The car is shown here with the original tires and wheels. Will be sold as such. I have brand new 18"/19" C6 Z06, C5 offsets, chrome wheels with Firestone RFT tires that I drive on. They can be negotiated. (Some one I know wants them) Last pic is poor, but has the new wheels in it.
Mods;
Corsa pace car exhaust with x pipe, Blackwing air intake, red valve cover - covers, tinted windows, red Z06 calipers, window valet. Trinkets like Corvette letters on steering wheel, chrome tail light things and such. Original exhaust, brake calipers and air intake availible to stay with car.
Negs;
There is one thread loose on the convertible top, it's there if you look hard enough. There is a scratch on the very bottom of the driver door that has been filled, again, it's there if you look hard enough. Other than that....
Can take more pics and videos upon request. Email or IM for phone contact info. I prefer to speak on the phone to any one who is really interested.
Asking $26,000.
These pics are before Corsa's and trinkets added.
With the Corsa's and trinkets added, at an all Corvette show in Prescott Arizona.
An open show in Scottsdale Arizona
With chrome wheels

Reasonable offers will be considered.
Have two sets of wheels and tires. Also have a Speed Lingerie bra that can go with the car. Forgot to put the bra in the first post. Two sets of floor mats also. Both sets are factory GM. Red came stock, I have a black set that stays in the car. The red ones only go in for shows.
Better pics with the chrome wheels.

That is an Indy 500 decal we purchased at the track. Put one on both sides. We lapped the track in that car a week before the race, 2 years ago. Kind of cool at shows and cruise nights when people ask what it is and we can tell them we lapped the track in the car. Static cling. It comes off easily. I'll make you a deal, I'll take $3 off the price and remove the decals myself, but only for a limited time.

Looks like a very nice clean 2001 Convert.
I also second that the rear stickers need to go.
I have found the Edmunds website handy for appraising vehicles you are looking to buy or sell.
You also may be better off removing and selling off the upgraded wheels and tires and exhaust separately. Stock cars tend to bring the most money and you can recover some of the mod costs in addition.

The $16,500 figure troy144 got from Edmund's appraisal site was based on a 2001 Convert in excellent condition that has only 22k miles on it and not on how frequently the car was driven. A car with higher mileage would come in less than that. I ran the same scenario and came out with about the same figure when I did it.

Nice vert
Hi
Don't listen to the bottom feeders and stick to your guns. Check out what is available and you will find very few as good as yours.
Good Luck

They came from JW Motoring, a forum vendor. I liked them the best myself.

Paul, I agree - sell what you want to get out of it. It is unfortunate people see the need to post a link that is contradictory to your price in an attempt to make it look like you are charging too much. This is America- you are welcome to sell it for whatever you want. I think it is disrespectful to post something contrary to what you are doing like this. It is like going to a house that has a for sale sign on the front lawn, and someone spraying "price is too high" on it.

Thanks for all the positive feedback guys. It really is a nice car, and not just because it's mine. We get lots of attention at car shows believe me.
I just went and looked at an 08 Pace Car in Glen Ellen, Il. Truthfully I would not own it. Only has 16k on the odo, but it has been a DD for someone. Fading trim and headlights, car wash swirls in the paint, decals nicked from parking lot dings, road salt remnants under neath. Nothing wrong with using it as a DD, just not what I am looking for. With that said, my 01 is not a DD and never has been.
A wise old man once told me "son, you get what you pay for, buy the best and you'll never be dissapointed"
