WTT: Cammed 98 Trans Am M6 for your C5
Hey guys just posting this out to see if there is any interest (seen a couple of f-body for c5 trades here). I'm looking for a c5 (m6 prefered) corvette, stock or modded. I would actually prefer a stock with higher miles in hopes of an even trade or closer to even trade. Interested in any one that's out there looking to get into a Trans Am (maybe you need those back seats ).
I have a Cammed 1998 Trans Am fully loaded, t-tops, tcs, manual 6 speed which currently has 89,202 miles as of right now. This changes daily as this is my only car, my daily driver, and I have a 48 mile round trip to commute to work (5 days a week). I've compiled a list of mods and parts replaced off the top of my head, I might be missing some small things but this is a good rundown. I do have all receipts for all the work done including parts, shop work, labor, etc. The car put down 389rwhp and 380ftpd torque on the initial tune, it is running a little rich right now as I had the intention of getting a LS6 intake on it pretty quickly but that hasn't happened yet (hopefully see 400-405rwhp+ with that and some more tuning).
the following things replaced about 60,000 miles
-all new brakes
-k&n air filter
-new rear end fluid and gasket
-new oil and filter
-new trans fluid
-new bosch 13111 o2 sensors
-new shocks
-new idler pulley
-new sony head unit with ipod conector
-new kicker speakers in doors and polk in the trunk
the following performance upgrades were added around 65,000 miles
-hooker long tube ceramic coated headers
-hooker off road y-pipe
-magnaflow catback
-DMH performance electric cutout
-fast toys lid
-slp mass airflow sensor
-strut tower brace
-RAM master cylinder
at 70,000 miles the following was done by Straightline out of New Lenox, IL. Car was also tuned when all the work was done by them, I have the receipts parts/labor and dyno print outs as well.
-custom grind comp cam 232/238 602./.609 @112
-comp R lifters
-trick flow hardened pushrods
-dual titanium springs
-ported ls6 oil pump
-c5r timing chain
-new head gaskets
-new head bolts
-all new gaskets on top end, also oil pan gasket.
at 74,000 miles the following was done.
-new ls7 clutch
-new pilot bearing
-new slave cylinder
-new driver and passenger window motors
-windows tinted (5% on the back and 15% on the sides)
at 83,xxx miles the following was done.
-new 4x C6 Z06 Replica wheels 18x9.5 gloss black with polished face/lip
-new 4x Nexen 3000 275/35/18 Tires
at 89,500 miles the following was done.
-complete overhaul of the air conditioning system (NEW not remanufactured A/C compressor, dryer, etc.).
I'm pretty picky about my car fluids are changed regularly, oils always changed about every 2,800-2,900 miles. Like I said I drive it everyday to work which clicks up the miles, I usually average around 18-20mpg every fill up. Additional photos (and higher resolution ones) are up on my flickr, Video sound quality isn't to great had to use my phone as I couldn't find my digital camera SD card.
Questions just let me know.

Just overhauled the A/C system (new A/C compressor, dryer, and the whole nine yards!). Blows ice cold, much better than before (compressor was making some noise).
BUMP!

bump for a car that looks to be in immaculate condition. How did you keep the nose so clean being a daily driver? it doesnt look like there are any rock chips at all.

Professional touch-ups from my paint buddy in town. Plus I keep the bugs and nasty stuff sponged off between washes . Thanks for the compliments it really is a very well taken care of car not some ragged out f-body.
I'm willing to put cash with my car as well not just straight trades .

Thanks rob-cyn for the interest but I couldn't do it. This is my only car and my daily driver, it gets pretty humid here and rains a lot. With a 48 mile commute to work daily that would be not a good thing for me , thanks for the offer though.

Whats your price on this ride? I am sorta local in Cleveland TN. I may like to come and take a look at it, if the price is right. Here is a nice 6 speed C5 with some mods I found and went to go look at yesterday in Soddy Daisy, TN - 1997 Chevrolet Corvette C5 Coupe - $12500
Just giving you a possible choice, like I said I went to see it yesterday and test drive, if you wanted to know anymore about it.
Edit: just looked up Cleveland, TN to Jackson, TN and found we are 5 hours apart, and 300 miles, well let me know anyway if you'd like.
