Default FLP 427 C5R Blocked Twin Turbo Z06 1000R

FLP 427 C5R Block Twin Turbo Z06 1000R
This 427 was hand-built by Scott Fulkerson of Midwest Engine Tech in Mokena, Illinois. Midwest builds high-horsepower engines for FLP and private customers domestically and internationally, even as far away as Germany. The C5-R block uses a 4.125 bore and 4.00 stroke to displace 6.997 liters (427 ci).
This car has too much to list. It's a 2001 Z06 and it was built as the Ultimate Street Corvette and has over $140K into it. This is not counting the countless hours of fabrication time that was done by some of the best technicians. The car is a true 1000hp street Corvette and drives beautifully. The handling is amazing and the car is very smooth under acceleration. You must see this car in person to appreciate it. It is being sold as Private party and the car can be viewed in Tujunga CA. It is currently in a showroom and has been used and driven from show to show.
Here’s an attempt to list some of the components.

^.....Here we go....

For those that ask these questions....try building a car yourself and see what it costs. I've found that people who comment like this, will never own anything like this.

Living within an hour from this engine builder and being in the go fast C5 hobby now for 10 years, I can attest to the fact that Scott Fulkerson of Midwest Engine Tech in Mokena, Illinois, is one of the best GM and LS engine builders around!

Best of luck to you on your sale the car is incredible!

The detail and cost that has gone into this car is ridiculous.

Kind of depends on your perspective doesnt it? When I saw 79k I thought it was a bit on the low side for such a beatifull street car making 1000 ponies.
Best of luck on the sale that car is a dream for many but at that price its a true value considering what it would cost to replicate.

It was originally going to be priced @ 90K. This car has an insane amount of $$$ invested into it.

Seriously. If you don't like the price then don't bitch, none of you complaining about the price were actually considering purchasing this car anyway. It's against forum rules to bitch about price... move on and keep it to yourself

Beautiful car btw. If I won the lotto, it'd be on the top of my list

The TT setup alone on this car costs over 20k. A lot of fabrication went into it. Plus the fuel system to handle the power capabilities. Then you'd have to address the transmission, diff, clutch, output shafts, etc. Things start to get real expensive. When you exceed about 600rwhp the expense skyrockets and a lot more has to be addressed. You don't just slap on a TT system.

Also, this car has over 20k invested in body & paint. The body parts were not plug & play. The rear quarter panels were customized to make sure the gap between the qp and trunk lid are even all the way through on both sides. The wheels were custom made with custom offset to make the 20x13's fit with 345/25/20 tires. The car looks like it came that way from the factory. I can go on and on. This car is not your run of the mill modded corvette.

If you think you can duplicate this car at anywhere near the asking price, give it a shot and find out for yourself.

Thank you

Some need to stop by the rules section before posting again.
