98' C5 Roadster... 427 C5R
EDIT: I will sell this car for $27K BUT will remove all the aftermarket items EXCEPT the motor & drivetrain, and the C5R replica headlights. Basically, you are paying about 8k over a stock valued C5 vert and with that you get a PROVEN, BUILT and RARE motor setup.
Thought i would throw this out again...
98' convertible, Pewter with black interior
62K on body
4.5K on motor
13K on rear diff
2.5K on trans
everything is built with the best parts money can buy. Doug Rippie Motorsports has done the work on this car.
Drivetrain Mods:
built/forged 427ci motor using C5R block
4L65E Level V trans by FLT (Chuck built it)
Rear diff is all cryo treated shafts and 3.73 gears, Getrag housing with DTE diff brace
Motor makes 535rwhp and 520rwtq last time i dyno'd (2 yrs ago)
Exhaust:
1 7/8" Kooks headers
3" Kooks x-pipe and mid section, ceramic coated
QTP dual 3" cutouts
B&B Route 66 exhaust
Suspension:
QA1 HAL 12 way adjustable shocks
Hotchkis Sway Bars
Interior:
Caravaggio seats black with red stitching
DSV Steering Wheel
Hyrdrographed dash, bezels, etc, (basically all removable parts)
Redline Goods leather wraps (door pull, center console, grab bars, and shift/brake boots), black with red stitching
Removable 6pt roll cage with Simpson 5pt harness
Body:
SW C5R replica light
Wheels:
CCW Big Streets with Michelin Pilot Sports 335r and 285f
additional road race slicks and drag slicks at extra cost
Car has been road raced twice at BRainerd Int'l Raceway. I went pretty easy on it and did not push my limits since i ran on street tires. I have drag raced it a total of 14x down the 1/4 mi. best runs have been 10.51@133. I only drive the car on nice sunny days, but i have been caught in the rain a couple times. The car is a bad *** road racer and street driver if that is what you are looking for. I have debated running nitrous on for next season, a 200 shot is easy for this motor and it would make well into the 700/800 power range and run low/mid nines! She is a blast to drive and i love it, but its time for me to move on with my life. It would be nice to have the money so i can pay for the large rock my gf wants and the lavish wedding to go with it!
Asking $37K obo. I don't think its overly excessive as the car literally has $65K in modifications alone. motor itself to date is $30K.
There is a LOT more to this car so if you have specific questions, let me know.

Made a quick vid of the car to showcase what it has... Also, took about 45 pics and can email them to anyone interested.

Bump for a great convertible. If this was a FRC or Z06 it would have already been in my garage by now. A nice car from a great MN guy.

TTT with a big bump. The car was sold but the buyer backed out of the deal bc the Canadian dollar was not working for him.
So, back on market!!!!! Who wants????

i still have the car and i think i will be putting on the nitrous for when i go down to TX. my buddy will help me install it. Shouldn't be hard, the wiring is a breeze for me but the only issue is running lines from the rear to the front since i don't have a lift.
