Default what's a good asking price

1998 c5 coupe with 131xxx miles, body is silver no major damage besides scratch on the front bumper, silver, lowered, thin 5 spoke wheels painted black, vararam CAI, changed exhaust to streight pipe from cats all the way back no mufflers. Inside is oak/black in good condition ,seats need some work but are still fully functional. 12" JL audio sub with JL amp powering it.

Anybody want to give me a guess of what it should go for?

Depends where you are. The national market is down terribly right now. There is a very similar car for sale locally, 98, silver, 6mt, but with only 85k on the clock for $13,000 and it hasnt sold in over a week...

Probably not the news you wanted to hear if your the seller.. but it IS a buyer's market right now. People are holding onto their money, and if they spend, they get the pick of the pen right now

brace yourself.

somewhere between 10k-12k. I think someone would grab it for about 10.5k would be reasonable.

I personally think the car should sell around $12k. If it is in really clean condition, maybe a little more. However, if it closer to the "fair" condition, you may be looking between 10.5 and 11. From the sound of it, I think 12 will sell it, if you are not in a huge rush.

How fast you want to sell it has a huge impact on price as well.

The down side
Auto
Exhaust
Seats
Front bumper damage
Mileage

What are the upside to your car? like new tires and so on

If none I would say 8 to 10

Good luck with the sale

I would say 10K , or 11K of youre very lucky...

That is, if u want to sell it and get money in ur pocket ASAP.

If you want to advertise for ever ask 13 or 14, but it wont sell.

I got mine with 98K miles 2 years ago in MINT condition for 11.5K. I got lucky back then but now people are not going to spend their savings on a car with 130K.

I say keep it dude. Nobody will appreciate it as much as you do.
