Default F/S 2002 Electron Blue Lingenfelter Roadster, 6 spd 16k mi, $29k

I bought this care new in spring of 2003 with every option including Z51 Suspension package, HUD, 12 way power sport seats, etc. Have the original window sticker, and all docs, including receipts and dyno sheet from Lingenfelter for the 500HP Package they put on at 10,000 miles. the car has about 16,000 miles and has only been driven in the rain twice when I got caught. It got a full underside detail up on the rack after that. The five spoke wheels look stock, but they are repros made to look like the OEM, only to Z06 size which allows the 305's on the back and 275's on the front, with the perfect offset and fit to fill the wheel well without sticking out. I have all of the stock take-offs from Lingenfelter, including the wheels and run flats. I will say the car is perfect mechanically and cosmetically, with the exception of a few normal scratches along the rocker panels from stuff flying off the tires. The exhaust is a rare Corsa Dual Datona configuration, with the touring exhaust. I had the pace car exhaust on, but switched to the touring for the perfect balance of authority at WOT, but chill at cruise. The top is black. The car has not been pimped...it is as stock as possibly other than the performance mods, all done by Lingenfelter. If you understand the Lingenfelter package, and are looking for a world class 500HP raw sports car car for under 30K, please make the call now. I could use the cash. Thanks.

Price is $29,000. Will take care of or help with delivery depending on your location.

Thanks,
Brad

Awesome looking car. I'm looking at a vert or a Z and love the blue color. Mind me asking why you're selling it?

Fair question. We started building a new house last August right before everything hit the fan. So I now have two houses, five boys, and have taken a 50% reduction on net worth and income from the business. I need to choose what goes for cash and I am starting with the things that my family does not "need". In the new house I built a garage under the main garage, set up just for the 'vette. I had every intention of keeping this car until I die.

Not a great time to sell a luxury, but hey, what do you do...it doesn't make me angry, the cars are worth what people are willing to pay, period. You cannot beat someone into submitting to your price, it is purely supply, demand, and ability to pay.

Thanks gentlemen.

Here is the sticker with exact details of stock build:

the "Performance Handling Package" is the Z51 option on the build sheet when ordered. It gives you the same torsion bars as used on the Z06.

Given the Lingenfelter Mods, the Z51 Suspension, and the 9.5" wide front wheels with 275's and 10.5" 305 rears, it feels like the best of both worlds (convertible vs. hardtop Z06) and that is what I was going for.

BK..great car. Well, I sold my Accord today and now I'm really looking at vettes and ready to take the plunge..so many out there to choose from, and now I have to see what exactly I want. Love your car, love the color and best of both worlds, the vert and the Lingenfelter package. The issue I would face is shipping it to Florida. That might be a pretty penny, and I wouldnt have time to take off from work to fly up and drive back. Do you have a video of the car by any chance that I can hear it running. Thanks again.

03,
Bump. Sorry you have to sell such a beautiful EB Vert.

Wow, talk about a "sleeper" car at redlights!! (Disclaimer: Not that Corvette drivers, including myself, would participate in speed contests on the street!) Looks like this is practically a C6 Z06 in stock C5 Vert clothing.

This is reasonably everything you can do, at least for what we were trying to accomplish (driveable monster 350cu.), without getting into the short block. So they did not increase displacement by increasing the bore or stroke.

Lingenfelter 500HP C5 Package installed at 10,700 miles to include the following:

Lingenfelter CNC Ported & Polished cylinder heads

2.02/1.57" one piece stainless steel intake & exhaust valves

3 angle valve job with hand blending of valve seats

CC chambers, surface, set spring heights and assembly

CC double valve springs, titanium retainers & locks

Custom designed Competition Cams hydraulic roller camshaft

Cloyes heavy duty timing chain set

Modified LS1 oil pump assembly

Lingenfelter ported & polished throttle body

Donaldson Blackwing highflow air filter/intake

Kooks 304 stainless long tube headers with fully functional O2 sensors in place and working. (no error codes come up on this C5)

Magnacore 8.5mm spark plug wires & NGK V power plugs

160 degree thermostat

ASP underdrive pulley

New OEM ZO6 Clutch

Lingenfelter Engine Testing and Expert PCM tuning

Now most of that stuff I understand, and some of it, not fully, but it is more than just a "head & cam". A major selling point in choosing Lingenfelter was the fact that they have done hundreds of LS1 packages like this, so they know what works, and what does not. They know how to deliver a driveable hot rod that will last.

I will post a video tour of it soon. Thanks for all the interest and PM's

BK

Nope, the package I have was dropped. As it was explained to me by a Lingenfelter employee, and I am paraphrasing, it was too much of a good deal...same price as the 430HP package for the LS1 that still shows at that link, but making the HP that approached packages that are a lot more. It is a legit 500HP Package, and it is stated as such on the signed Lingenfelter paperwork that the new owner will receive from me.

Had a potential buyer from Detroit call at the last minute to cancel as he was seeing lots of good deals on stock C5's and also starting to think about something that would not be intimidating for his wife to drive. No problem there, the stock C5 is an amazing car and the deals out there are better than ever. For those of you who understand and want something like this Lingenfelter 'vette...it is back on the market.

Sincerely,
BK

How much of the stock parts do you have? Does Lingenfelter return everything they remove?
