Hey Guys
The only reason I did not buy Frank's 02 is because I had a Z06 virtually fall into my lap. Couldn't pass it up wasn't even looking for a 6 speed car, I wanted an automatic like Frank or Ed are selling for my wife to use. Take a look in the C5 for sale section or look at posts by DrRich (one word) and myself-that is my new ride.

Yes- picked up last Friday-put about 30 miles on it so far. Funny story goes with it: Took my 10 yo son out for a ride---rolling along at 20mph in first, I punched it for about 2 seconds and upshifted. The kid got the hiccups for about an hour and a half. Seven o'clock the next morning he was looking under the front end of the car--still grinning ear to ear

So much for that. His "financing" was his parents. He went out partying Saturday night and got into trouble. So now, this 27 year old live at home young man is being punished and they will not lend him any money.
On the lighter side, mom and dad loved the car and would really like to get it for themselves, but they aren't going to

this car was too fast for him anyway---we'd have been reading about him meeting a tree @ 100mph and how Corvettes are "bad" vehicles.
Hang on Ed- someone with brains will show up

Wow...can't believe this is still for sale.
I am really tempted to buy this car for the wifey......
Bump for you. Be patient....this will be sold soon. If it sits much longer.....it will be sold to me.

Most of our interest has come from Craigslist but it's mostly dreamers and lowballers.

One way ticket.....buy it and drive it back. Makes for a great road trip and memorable experience.
That is what me and my GF did when we bought her 95, but we flew out to Iowa and made the 1,000 mile trip. Got her to take it up to 100 mph for the first time......after some persuasion. She never drove that fast before.

TTT for a great, low mileage car at a very saleable price. Can't believe this has not been snapped up by someone.
Maybe it's location, or a further indication of a depressed economy, or trickle down effects of the discounted, 0% 08s.
Whatever, I think this car has to find a new owner soon.
Good luck with your sale.
