FS: '02 M.Y. VERT 6 speed
PRICE REDUCED! Now asking $25,700.00 as of 27 March 2009.
Please note price reduction! I need the garage space.
Due to medical reasons ( I am 62 and have a very bad left knee/ can't do the clutch thing anymore) I must reluctantly part with my six speed.
I am NOW asking $25,700 for a beautiful Millinium Yellow Convertible six speed with all the options.
The mileage is 27130 and this is mostly cruise control mileage as this car has never been used as a daily driver. We have taken a number of short to medium length vacations in this car. Just in June 2007 we put 2400 miles on the car during an 8 day trip. We also belong to a Corvette Club and use the car for club trips and Cruise-n-eats. This (garage queen) car is beautiful and in like new condition. It always wins a first place trophy in all the local car shows.
Always garaged (I have a temp controlled basement garage)
Never smoked in
no body or paint work
never tracked (I've never even spun the wheels)
My '02 has every option available on the '02 vert except Z-51. It has the F45 suspension (3 way adjustable) Selective real time damping.
It has been waxed regularly with McGuires and the top has been treated regularly with RaggTop.
This car is completely stock under the hood except for the Exide Orbital battery which is less than three years old and has been kept on a battery tender.
I installed the CLB (column lock bypass) so this car has never been subjected to the worthless GM recalls on the steering column.
I have had this car since July 2004 when I purchased it from another Forum member. It had 4007 miles on it at that time and was in absolute showroom condition.
I love this car and regret having to give up shifting the gears but my left knee can no longer push a clutch.
This car is still under GMPP $0 deductible extended warranty until April 6, 2009 or 52,100 miles.
The paint and rubber gaskets, etc., are still like new as this car has been kept in my basement garage. It has been rained on, but only when we get caught out in it on a trip. Whenever away on a trip I always took a car cover to protect it at night.
Anyone interested in a stunning looking car would be wise to check this car out. It is hard to find a six speed car that has not been abused but this one is almost like new.
I live in Saraland, Al. which is just about 15 miles north of Mobile, Al.
You can PM me or e-mail me.
I have 53 more photos available that were recently taken by an AAG Professional Auto Inspection Company that I can email to you if interested.
Thanks for your interest.

Hi Titus,
It's good to hear from you. How are you enjoying your "new" car?
I really hate to have to sell my 6 speed as I truly enjoy shifting the gears. I just can't endure the pain in my left knee and I keep putting off knee replacement surgery.
I just got through washing my Vette and removing all my personal belongings and told my wife it was really sad that I won't be driving it anymore. I haven't driven it in over a month now. I'll get another Vette but I'll just have to settle for an automatic.

Good luck with the sale. Don't feel too bad about moving to an auto. It isn't "settling" too much so long as it is a Corvette. Mine is an A4 and I don't miss not having the clutch in while sitting at the lights. But most like the 6 speed, so you should find plenty of interested people.

Bump for an awesome ride.
My vette is running awesome. I am like the coolest dude around now ... Its really fun to drive.
I hope you can find a buyer soon and then buy your auto subsequently. Both of you are in my prayers.
Regards,
Titus
