Default Ghost Machine (2003 Z06 408ci F1C Procharger/Nitrous) for sale

Selling the Ghost Machine.

No reason other then I have done everything I can do to the car and I am looking to start my next project.

I am thinking of fixing up a 1962 corvette.

I have always loved that body style and something about a pearl white/machine accent with an LS7 slammed on HRE's just seems interesting.

I have thought about keeping the z06 while doing the older vette.

- But I barely drive this as it is so it would kind of be pointless to have 2 setting in the garage.

Coverage:

The car is featured as the centerfold in VETTE magainze (Dec. 07' issue) Please ref: GHOST IN THE MACHINE

Car has been featured in a Nitto advertisement spread.

Car has won numerous first place trophies in local car shows in and around the Houston area.

Car is very well known in the online community.

------------------------------------------------------------------

The car is extremely reliable and has been a blast to drive and show.

Price:

Not sure how accurate KBB.com is but this is how I am coming up with the price of the car.

Current private party value of a 2003 Z06 in Excellent condition is

$37,700.00

To match what is done in interior/exterior modification's you will spend more then $50.000.00.

Anyone who has knows these cars can tell you this is a pretty accurate estimate with the work that has been done.

Please note: (receipt upon request I have all documents)

37700est
50000est
-------
$87700est

Subract the 50% rule for modifactions: $25000.00est

37700est
25000est
-------
$62700est

That being said I am asking $59.900

Please also note: For out of state buyers. (in the united states)
I will purchase your plane ticket if you decide to buy the car after review. But I prefer a local sale as I still would like to see it cruise the streets of Houston.

Please also take note I will not be selling the car with a buyer out of state that does not come and test drive it first.

This car needs to be driven if the buyer is serious (no tire kickers)

Its loud, Its fast, It gets a lot of attention.

I realize this is alot of money and a risk for a modified car of this caliber.

- I am confident in its reliability but I want to be on the same page with someone who hasn't experienced an 850rwhp z06.

The last thing I want to see is a headline on corvetteforum.com that my old car that I spent alot of time and money on is wrapped around a tree.

Thank you
Garett

Nice car!!!! At this point and time outside of the Body and the Chasis can this even be called a Corvette or a Z06. You should make up a name that would could only fit this beast. I am not a huge fans of Mods but you have put them all together nicely. Good luck with the sale.

Bro, I can't emphasis how much I love your car. If my car was paid for I'd sell it, get a loan, and I'd be on my way to get that bad boy. Not to mention, you'll pay for the buyers plane ticket. This will definitely sell quick. Good luck

Drog - Thank you

Couture - Thank you! Its only fair that if someone is that interested in it they need to come look and drive it first.

- Buying cars in the past I always wished someone would have offered that for me.

I can take any pics/vids that anyone might be interested in.

I realize this is off season with winter coming up. But I will be throwing it up on Ebay in the spring if I still have it.

Don't take this the wrong way, but you are insane. You've obviously had every square inch of that Z06 apart and upgraded and you've only got 13K miles on it! Enjoy that master-piece! You will kick yourself after you sell her... What a stunning Vette and I wish you nothing but luck in your endeavors! B

Awesome looking car.

I really like your stereo system install, who did it ? I'm trying to figure out a system for mine when I get it done.

Do you have any more pictures of the stereo install that you could post ?

Good luck with the sale ?

hahahahaha, why was i not supprised that this car is owned by someone in Houston. Do you guys get to write off modding your cars down there or something? I swear that Houston must have more insane street cars than any other city in the US.

Very nice car, definitely needed to keep up with those guys down there...where everyone's daily driver seems to run low 11's.

Thanks for the additional pictures. That is one sweet ride you have put together.

It's a shame to see you sell it after all of that hard work. I don't ever plan to sell mine. I don't understand how you guys do all of this work on your car and then sell it ?

I've been working on mine for over 3 years. It's such a tedious job to get everything right and then to start it all over again.

BTW, have you ever thought about doing a retro 58 instead of 62 with tubular frame and C5 suspension up front w/ straight axle in the rear for handling the big power.

I saw a number of interesting kits up at Carlisle show this year.

Anyway, goood luck with the sale and your next project.

Thanks

I guess part of my "hobby" with these cars to me is fixing them up.

- I enjoy making them different then everyone elses out there and turning heads and getting more attention when its parked next to a lambo are a show.

I have seen those kits I have thought about one of those as well.

Thanks again

Take care and have a good Thanks Giving everyone
