FS: '99 Torch Red FRC... $17.5k
Am looking to sell my 1999 corvette FRC
88k miles, been taken care of.. the milage doesn't show...
has a few mods:
4.10 gears
Basani Xpipe, cats removed
TI z06 exhaust, also have a flowmaster exhaust that can go with it, i prefer the flowmaster sound.. but been too lazy to switch back
Patriot CNC ported heads with .650 lift gold springs
LS7 cam
LS7 Lifters
LS3 oil pump
LS7 cam gear and chain
Slotted and drilled rotors
Also comes with a spare newer z06 clutch/flywheel/plate setup...
Car has been my daily driver this year.. but is washed and zaino'd usually once a week.. at worst every other...
Paint is in great shape, but has the normal chips on the front fascia that all c5's get
Factory stereo is gone, was the base system not bose.
Now has a kenwood head, rockford amps, CDT audio speakers and an Adire 12" shiva sub... I made the system to sound good without annoying the neighbors mainly.
Only problems on the car would be, the z06 rims are aftermarket and don't have the built in air pressure sending units..
Interior: interior is near perfect.. cept your normal wear and tear on the drivers seat.. and a small friggin chip in the vinyl in the left drivers bolster that i did 2 days ago, and im VERY pissed about.. i am trying to locate a new skin right now...
And a small trans leak, like if it sits for a week you might have a couple drips... was told it's probalby the input seal... never annoyed me enough to rip it apart to find out whats up..
I bought this car here on the forum 3 years ago, and it has been a great car.. i love it to death. but winter coming and all that... so figured i would test the waters
This is in the detroit area...

Well.. when i have a bad week i have a bad week... i was just vacuuming the car and cracked the friggin center console... here are some interior pics and a pic of the console. Reducing to 17k even, the extra $500 is more than enough to get a seat skin (149 from gene) and a console..

the heads/cam and all that have only been on about 200 miles.. maybe a month or so... roadrebel here on the forum tuned it for me.. but i havn't had it on a dyno or track.. with the motor bone stock and spinning the tires bad (khumos on 4.10gears) i was just doing 12.80's... that was with like 2.1 60's though...

Hey, I'm in Auburn Hills...I gotta get a ride in this so I can see how much the mods make a difference! Well, it may just make my FRC jealous...j/k.. Free bump for a really nice FRC at a great price!

RoadRebel tuned? he is one of the best in the nation, def. worth stating that in the lead post
re: seat covers, a lot of FRC owners swap out the base covers for the Z06 versions, often found for 250-400 in C5parts, about 3-4 hours to do the swap
