****FS: 2002 EB Z06 Corvette - $29,500 – GMPP – 36K miles****
Note: I’m including as much detail as possible to help reduce redundant PM questions.
Description:
I have up for sale is a 2002 EB Z06 with 36,200 miles and 100% clean Carfax. The car is in EXCELLENT condition and comes with a GMPP till Dec. 2007 ($100 deduc). This car has been extremely well cared for and has been professionally polished numerous times. The car comes w/ detailed maintenance history, Owner’s Manual kit w/ leather cover, 2002 Z06 owner’s video, original Corvette car cover (needs cleaning), and TWO keys w/ fobs. The car has always been garaged kept and has seen only a few drops of rain since I’ve owned it. I’m extremely picky about the looks and “well-being” of this car and I’ve always park it away from crowed parking lots and the flow of traffic.
The only and I do mean ONLY reason I’m even considering the sale of this car is to purchase something better for a daily driver. The car is way too clean to keep on the road and has only been driven on weekends and sunny days. I’m in no hurry to sell the car so I’m going to stay pretty firm on the asking price. I really do enjoy driving it but it sits too much to justify the payment. I plan on moving to a CTS V for the 4 door functionality to daily drive.
Exterior Condition:
The condition of the paint is completely in line with the mileage. It does have very minor surface spots on the noise and the hood of the car. Any Corvette w/ more than 10k miles will be expected to have these similar spots. The hood also has a couple pin-tip size spots as well, but requires close examination to notice them. Besides from these few extremely minor spots, there are NO major flaws of any kind on the paint. If anyone really wanted to get some of the minor swirls and surface spots out, it could use another good polishing to take care of that! But take a look at the pictures and you be the judge!
The car has never been wreaked or repainted and has a 100% clean Carfax.
Interior Condition:
Extremely extremely clean inside! There are no flaws with the interior at ALL! This car has been repeatedly vacuumed and clean even when it shown no signs of needing it! The driver’s seat is hardly even showing signs of being sat in - much less the passenger’s seat. Take a look at the pictures, and again, judge for yourself!
Mechanically:
The car has been extremely well maintained w/ no major issues w/ any parts of the brakes, drive train, or tires. The brakes feel perfect w/ NO signs of needing be replace or any pulsations from wrapped rotors. The motor runs strong and just recently had the oil changed w/ Mobile 1 oil and filter. The engine makes no abnormal noises like piston slap or belt/pulley squeaks. The clutch holds perfect and the petal feels super strong with no signs of slipping or needing to be replaced! Transmission shifts perfectly! The tires are SC F1’s and have about 40% tread life left!
The A/C is ice cold and alignment is straight as an arrow! This car needs nothing but a new owner! Column lock and the rear diff leak have both been fixed (w/ receipts).
The only known problem to me is the unlocking of the doors (but the doors lock every time). It takes a couple times of pressing the unlock button on the key fob to get the door to unlock. I’m not sure if it’s the battery in the fob or what? It hasn’t really bothered me enough to look deeper into it as it only takes about 3 pushes and the door unlocks? My 2000 FRC done the exact same thing and I’m not sure if it’s a Corvette thing?? But if you have any problems at all, the car comes with a GMPP till Dec. 2007 to cover EVERYTHING electrical and mechanical (besides clutch and brakes)!!
Modifications:
Lowered on stock bolts
Tinted Windows 35% (seems darker, though)
VaraRam B2 Intake (still have stock airbox)

Recently chromed OEM GM Z06 wheels – NO scuffs/rashes – PERFECT!

Thanks for the comments!
Sorry Nicholskin I've found a possible CTS V which kind of helped me make up my mind. Love the car, love the looks, but not many people see it sitting in the garage.

Cts-v
Still no interest in trading for my 05 CTS-V? Seem like it would be a great solution for both of us. Check the book values on an 05 CTS with Nav and roof and you'll find it $2k to the Cadillacs advantage. I'm just interested in another Z as i now have my mothers car for a DD.
