Have you tried HEMMINGS yet as this is a big ticket specialty item with the super low miles on your car?

It all depends on how bad one wants to sell. I have been seriously looking for that past several months. Condition plays a big part in what the car is worth as well as mileage. Z16's with around 4000 miles in mint shape can be had for 38-39k. I think OrthoDoc is probably holding out for a true collector that is looking for a low mileage like new car.

And Z16's did not sell for $46K in '04 - they were expemted from the rebates offered on other models, and stickered at over $57K.

He put 45k firm in his post and that is what he wants for it. No one is forced to purchase the car. If you look at low mileage C5's at Rogers Corvette, he also asks for prices similar to this or higher and he doesn't negotiate much.
As long as he is willing to wait someone will probably purchase it-I don't know why you would bash him for asking the price he wants.

and at the end of the day it doesn't matter what you COULD HAVE BOUGHT ONE FOR. Those are normal Z06's prices not Z16's, but again you can't go back in time even if they did. If under 5,000 mile cars are selling for $39,000 to 40,000 a brand new car with GMPP warranty is worth a little more.

Give the guy a break and read the rules.

My friend thats on this board bought his Z16 brand new off the showroom floor for I believe 44K.

Good luck to the seller. A person looking for an essentially brand new Z16 will pick this up.

Should be a nice pickup for a collector.

Here are the forum rules on vettes for sales and you guys who keep on questioning the price he is asking for his Z16, or setting forth your negative opinions on something else about his Z06 Z16 need to obey the rules and move on to somewhere else, where you have something positive to offer! GIVE the guy a break, he is trying to sell his car and you guys are making it tuffer on him and that is !

READ THE RULES!

Let's be civilized a bit. If you do not like my price then please move on.

Thank you.

Default beautiful car

sweet ride this is by far the coolest and my most favorite corvette. far better looking than a new one. lets face it they dont make these anymore. it is the end of a era of the best run of corvettes ever made and is truly a collectable car. i wish i had the oppertunity right now it would be mine.

Jeez, you really think you can sell that ragged out, beat on car?

Seriously though, it looks amazing, and i'm sure with enough time you'll find a buyer who can appreciate it for what it is. If not, you'll be forced to take it out and put some miles on it. Win win either way.

I have to admit, when I first saw the $$ I was surprised. But then I

thought about it, if I were looking for this car and it had these kind

of miles, I think I would buy it. To get the car you want and have it

be pretty much new. Hang in there someone out there is looking for

this one. Its a beauty!

How far is Kenosha from Madison? On March 9th, I am taking my daughter to see University of Wisconsin, one of the schools that she has so far been accepted to. I own a 2004 Mag Red, 6 speed Coupe since new. I would be potentially interested in adding a pristine, low mileage C5Z to the garage as I do not really like the C6 body style. I live in NYC.

Thanks
Ken
