I'd sell my Black Beauty but I can't give it away. Too nice of a car. In case you are interested in a no excuses car:
1999 C5 Corvette convertible, black w/black top, Light Oak (tan) interior. - 56,000 miles
$24,000 (Individual sale. No local sales tax to pay)
• Meticulously cared for. Mature responsible driver. Never raced or abused. Regularly serviced. Have all records. Most would say looks and drive new.
• GMPP extended warranty with approx. 24,000 miles remaining, good thru 2-10-2007. Will provide at no additional cost.
• Pure stock engine other than a twin snorkel polished alloy air intake with dual K & N filters and large quad exhaust tips.
• Y2K OEM factory chrome wheels (still have the original wagon wheels which will go with the car).
• 4 new Michelin Pilot Sport All Season run flat tires.
• New drilled and slotted zinc coated rotors all around.
• Ceramic disc pads.
• All the GM Service Bulletin procedures applicable to this model have been completed.
• Fresh serpentine belts.
• Added a passenger side air bag cut off switch so I could carry my grandchildren.
• GREAT Gas mileage! 26-28 Highway, 17 + or - around town (in Metro Atlanta)!
• No lien. Have possession of clear title.
Loaded with factory equipment as follows:
Has all Factory Standard Equipment including:
• 5.7 L Gen III V-8 LS1 engine
• 4 speed OD Automatic trans
• Automatic climate control Air Conditioning
• Bose AM/FM Stereo Cassette (with aftermarket trunk mount 6 disc CD player)
• Cruise control
• Limited slip differential
• Power heated outside mirrors
Plus the Factory Optional Equipment:
• Sport seats (Leather)
• Active handling
• Dual zone electronic automatic thermostat AC option
• Tilt and power telescoping steering wheel
• Six way driver and passenger power seat
• Memory package
• 3.15 Performance Axle ratio
• Twilight Sentinel
• Factory floor mats
• OEM newer style Y2K (thin spoke) chrome wheels
Added Non-OEM Extra Equipment:
• CD player, Alpine, 6 Disc, trunk mount.
• Polished alloy twin snorkel air intake with dual K & N filters.
• Front bumper skid plates.
• Passenger side Air Bag cut off switch (government approved).
Your price range for the years mentioned is accurate for a coupe but you'll find, if you don't already know, convertibles bring quite a bit more money than the coupes.
This is a very fair price for an excellent car – but if you don’t respond I’ll know that you are instead looking for a bargain price. Certainly no hard feelings.
Owning a Vette is awesome. Good luck with whatever you do.
