Tomorrow I take the Vette in to have a left side differential oil leak fixed.
This gives you an idea of what kind of owner I am, to blow perhaps $500 to fix a leak before the sale. I will ask if they have AMSOIL to quiet the differential chatter, but I am not holding my breath.
I have been doing some detailing the past few days to take better care of some bad touch-ups done by the previous owner and myself. Got the Langka "blob-remover" kit, which does a great job. I have already removed the old touch-ups, leaving surprisingly small flaws. I will retouch and relevel and the car will be as nice as anyone could want.

Well, that was expensive, but worth it! Cost almost $800 at the stealership to fix the rear differential seal, including a $90 4-wheel alignment because the entire left axle half and center crossmember come out for the operation. I think I must have needed the alignment because she now tracks smoother down the highway. (No uneven wear on the tires, not to worry.)
They even had the body shop buff out my scratches for free, since I was such a "big spender".
So now, defect-free, I await the full-price offers of $27K.

To the owner
With all due respect, I wouldn't appear to cocky considering we're all mostly vette owners and have had to bite our tongues from time to time regarding are own sales. You chose to fix the problem and that is great but that was your choice and your choice only correct?
BTW, if you had F-45 I would have aleady offered you a good price but I wish you luck just the same!

Wow, a harsh critic in the house!
Didn't you see the smiley-face?
I think I have the closest thing to F45 with the Z06 swaybars over stock springs...comfort + handling.
Thanks for the luck, I guess.

TTT to a Georgia Owner!
Although we live in the same area, I have never met Rich or took a look at his car. I believe we exchanged a few pm on ZR-1's months and months ago.
This appears to be a super car with low mileage. Not really a bad price with the mods, new tires and a owner that cares about his maintenance.
Too bad I am not in the market for a "five", it is right around the corner. If someone gets real serious about this car I could run over and take a semi-official look at the car for them, however, the pictures seem to tell the story. Just a nice nice car!
Good luck Rich
BTW What model Lotus? Did you ever find a ZR1?

Rich,
You have a great car. Love my 01NBM purchased this past May but would have preferred buying yours. You have done the tasteful mods to the car particularly the shifter. Surprised at the forum members. Unfortunately, you may have to go to e-bay or another medium to find the serious buyer.

Regarding airport delivery, I would be up to it, if someone was willing to pay a reasonable price and had a credible funding source.
Still available, clubracer6 may just have to come up with some cash soon.
