Default Shipping from VT to GA

I think I found a vehicle in Vermont but I need it shipped to Georgia (Macon). Does anyone know of anyone who works the East Coast area that are reliable and decently priced?

Thanks,
Mike

Try FedEx. Their prices seem reasonable.

I used Autotrans(Fedex) to ship a '71 Corvette from Ohio to the Houston area. They farmed it out and overcharged me. They might get packages to locations quick, but I would not recommend their car delivery services.

Its been 9 days since Ive last seen my car. Im having it shipped from CA to FL. My broker cant give me a straight answer on when its going to be here. I hope its not scratched or damaged when it finally arrives. Keeping my fingers crossed. This thread might help you as well. Good luck.

Call Exoic Car Transport. They DO are first rate enclosed shippers. They do not broker out their jobs; their trucks/drivers will pick up your new Vette. I have shipped four vehicles with them and soon to be five.

The cost will run you apprximately $1100ish. To me worth every cent over an open hauler.

Just my $.02.

Good luck and enjoy your new ride!

My 91' ZR-1 was just shipped 1,400 miles by enclosed carrier with no issues. I used a broker, who in turn used Autobahn transport. The driver, Wally, was very professional and my car arrived in perfect shape. I will use Autobahn in the future, but will not use a broker, an extra $325 for nothing. I considered DAS (see the forum post horror stories) but they wanted to leave the car in a wrecker lot for up to two weeks before loading. With Autobahn, my ZR-1 was loaded on the truck and didn't come off until it arrived. Some folks like to buy and drive, but I didn't have that kind of time.
Good luck with whatever route you decide
