Default Up to $32,000 to spend on VERY low mileage C5 (TX)

I have up to $32,000 cash to spend on a low mileage C5 vette.
REQUIREMENTS:
-prefer under 5,000 miles
-6 spd
-'01-'03
-around the TX area or surrounding states
-no yellow/white/black
-prefer stock cars

First choices in colors:
1.navy blue mat.
2.magnetic red
3.silver
4.pewter
5.red
Any color int will work.

Please list what you have or P/M with details. Looking to buy TODAY w/ cash in hand....

I have found a silver/black int. 2003 C5 for $32,000...
-5,100 miles
-no paint work
-original owner
-never in rain
-6spd
-HUD
-dual zone
-polished wheels
He was asking a little over $35K, now after waiting a few months he's willing to take my offer of $32K...I might pull the trigger if I don't find anything else.

I would prefer to stay away from '01 models due to all the "oil consumption" issues GM had. Really want a '02 around $30.5K....any thoughts?

$32K sounds like a good deal for an '03 with 5100 miles if it is somewhere you can see it before taking the dive.

Black is one of the best looking colors (when clean), but so HARD to keep the small swirls out of it when you use it daily.

Thanks though.

The car you have found for $32,000 is a deal and you know it is. But its Quick Silver and that color usually doesn't comand the money. If that car was Yellow, Anniv., Magnetic Red (other than a 03 model) it would bring more money. If that car is no paint work, no nothing than its a no braniner.

You said exactly what I was thinking too! At first I really did not care for the QS, but the more I look at it the more it grows on me. I think I want QS now and looks stunning on polished Y2K wheels. As to the price I was hoping for a year older '01-'02 model to get the price around $30K, but $32K for a '03 w/ 5,000 miles is below trade-in . I believe this is as good as it gets.

Its still forsale in GA last time I checked, but just too far to travel w/o any detailed pictures first. Its an older owner who doesn't do all the internet stuff. I found it off auto trader. Very good price for someone local to his area (GA) and wanting a '03 model....I feel I would be happier w/ a '02 for a little less. I have found a few GREAT deals on here for '02 models, but all were the wrong colors. I'm now also open minded to black ones. I think it would look good against the CCW 505a wheels I just bought (19X10 and 19X11), now I just need a vette to go with them .

I rushed into my last purchase of a '01 vette and don't want to do that again, now that I just sold it and my '01 Z28. BTW- both had under 10K miles. Don't have much time to drive them, but still love owning them .

If you're willing to spend $36,000.00 I have a Le Mans blue/shale interior '04 C5 (six speed). Comes with magnetic selective ride, tour/sport, trac on/off, competitive driving, HUD, 12 disc CD changer, dual power seats, and every other option available minus the blue tint roof. C5 has under 7,500 miles. If you think you might be interested, please let me know or provide me with an e-mail address and I'll forward some pictures over to you.

Respectfully,

J.

BTW: only upgrade done was......a titanium exhaust (not included as part of the purchase), but still have the original exhaust that can be put back on. I also have some aftermarket wheels on the C5 (not included as part of the purchase). So the OEM wheels and tires only have about 123-128 miles on them, which I would put back on as well. Thank you!

thats one of my favorite vettes around and local too! I just wish it would have been a few years older to be more in my spending range on a C5 model, but for an '04 that is a good asking price...thanks.
