still haven't heard from the bank - they called yesterday afternoon and by the time i was able to return the call they were closed, i'll call them this morning and see what the outcome is.
could ya snap a shot of the rear (i wanna see the exhaust part)
perhaps a shot of the "back" under the hatch?
and a quick question - what could this mean
The traction system is throwing a code something about it warming up.
the thing i'm concerned about is taking it through AZ inspection with a code - since it is OBD-II will a traction system code "fail" it?
figure i'd need to know that as otherwise this car will be a true garage queen until that is fixed.

She is built for speed its far from a hybrid on the emissions side
STILL UP FOR SALE first one with $$$$$$$$$$ wins

well in AZ they don't do "sniffer" tests on 96 and newer - they simply plug into the computer to read the specifics on the car
not sure what the requirements are, but i know if the car is throwing codes, it most likely won't pass - but like i said, not sure if the traction control will cause issues - can't really see how or why it would, but you never know with the monkeys doing emission testing

Might be interested as I live in Tulsa and have been looking. What's the current status on the stereo and brakes issue? I noticed the post about the stereo awhile back saying you were replacing.

One of the local stereo shops has owed me 1,000 for months and I need to collect so still in limbo but just needs some amps put in otherwise all works.
brakes are fine just traction light kicks on and DIC says its warming up.
ABS and brakes work 100%

blahhh good question I have been running it without just with the top down.
I have a Jetta TDI I mostly drive since it gets 41-50 mpg and attracts less attention that the vette.
Vette is more of a toy but a well manored toy. Will check AC should be fine as far as I know.

I took off the CBs antenna need a pic let me know
also it only has 77,000 miles on the car and checked with dealer and I am way off on engine miles. Only has 9,300 miles on the motor.
