Don't listen to the "stick" part. Auto all the way with the right upgrades. Awesome car man, anyway you could tell us what the reserve is?

Well, I can't say what the reserve price is, but I can tell you that it's less than the buy-it-now price. Hope that's enough info for you.

The auction ends in 1 1/2 days. Just thought I'd bump this back to the top.

Really close to what we are looking for. You don't mention it but I'll ask anyway. Does it have the Z51 option? Does your father still have the orignal paperwork form purchase? I assume that cupholder is just snapped in. It's not glued or taped is it?

No, it does not have Z51. Yes, he would have the original paperwork from the purchase. However, I believe that paperwork is in Indiana (where I live) with all other files so I will have to mail any requested items to the buyer. Unfortunately, the majority of maintenance records would be filed with taxes so those would not be able to go with the car. Although, all maintenance work was performed at a dealership so I would think a person could get a printout of the history. I'll have to call the dealer to find out, though. As for the cupholder, it's held in by a screw but it can easily be removed.

There is no longer a warranty on the car. It may be possible to purchase a warranty through an outside company, but I have no information regarding such a purchase.

I'll always be remembered for that, won't I? I sure hope someone can take my place this year because I won't be able to make it down there this time.

Hey man, you're a Legend !!

I think I'll probably skip this year too. I just sold my C5 so I'll be Vetteless. And we wouldn't mind skipping the 1700 mile round trip. I'll come to #7 in my new C6.

Congratulations on the sale of your Dad's C5
