It's been about a year since I've logged on, and the system won't take my old screen name for some reason (fullboogie). Anyway...
Selling my 96 Collector's Edition so I can buy something else. It's got 38K on it, and is in really great shape. No mods other than a set of Dynomax mufflers. Both tops are included (silver and clear blue).
There's a $3,500 stereo in it as well - Eclipse head unit and EQ; Alpine amp; 6 Infinity speakers; Monster Cables on everything; JL 10" sub; and a killer custom box. The sub enclosure is the hole in back of the passenger seat, with the amp mounted in back of the driver. A low profile cover hides everything, covered in black leather with "Corvette" embroidered on the rear face. It's very tastefully done (by a professional facility) and unobtrusive. This isn't a "boom" system - it's a fantastic sounding stereo with wonderful clarity and sound. I have all the stock components to return it to stock if you don't want the stereo system (I'd actually make more money selling the stereo separately).
The interior is flawless. The paint and rims are extremely nice, but not flawless. Since it's been driven for 38K miles, there are some small nics in the paint on the nose from rocks, etc. Overall, a 9.5 out of 10.
Some of you may have seen this car if you attented the Fastest Street Vette competition in San Antonio in 2002. I had just bought the car, and wanted to see what it ran in the quarter. I made 4 passes, with a best of 12.89 at 108.5 mph. Not bad for a bone stock car with only 7K miles on it (at the time). I am the second owner, by the way.
Also has a $600 alarm system.
Asking 20K or best offer. Will reduce price if I keep the stereo - we can negotiate. Willing to deliver within a reasonable distance from Houston. Can send pics via email if you desire, or you can call me at 713-426-1820 (David). You can also email me at djbooth@yahoo.com
