1987 COUPE FOR SALE 40,000 ORIG MILESWell I have decided that I want to sell my 1987 Coupe. It has only 40,000 miles and is in excellent condition. It is a 4 speed with overdrive and is loaded with pretty much every option that was offered in 1987. The list was $ 33,017.00. (i have the window sticker) It has the Z52 suspension and even has dual removable tops Bronze and fiberglass. The only thing changed inside is the radio. It now has a Pioneer MP3 player with two 250 watt Pioneer amps with 6x9 rear speakers and 6.5 inch front door speakers. (Infinity reference) Otherwise this car is all origional, except for new 17" ZR1 wheels and new Falken tires, and new paint ( the clear was peeling on the back) It has a cat back exhaust, Fram Air Hog filter, cut back air cleaner lid, adj fuel pressure reg, and a Helix power tower. Also the screens have been removed from the maf. This car runs great burns no oil and gets great milage. I would not sell it but I am 57 years old with heart problems and have decided I want an automatic.
Location: New York City.. (i'm in a) NY (state of mind)

Location: levittown pa. usa Even a bad day with my `Vette, is better than a good day at work
I don`t know about 87s not being very desireable . You should be ok at around that price. I payed 11.5k in may for my `87 with 34000mi on it.

...prices are really all over the board ..but low milage and the fact you have taken good care of the car will help..
you will most likely have to make a decision on the bottom line pricing and post it there as firm ..and wait for the right buyer..or hold on until ..spring....I am looking myself but only have 7k to play with (for my daughter !!)
again good luck wayne
Just wondering if some of you have an idea what my Vette should sell for?
6 months ago I paid $10,900 for an '87 with 25k miles on it from a mercedes dealership in Portland Or. Maybe would have got it for a grand or two less if from a private party. Hard to say. All the ones I've seen for a lot less had a bunch of miles, lousy paint, interior, something.
