I am selling my re-bodied 1990 Lingenfelter 383 Coupe.18X9"Y2K Black Wheels with Kumho tires(265 35 18 F 275 35 18 R) 120,000 miles on the car. Paint was done from the original flame red to admiral blue metallic in the fall of 2000(take off and new body panels we're added) Interior is black leather that came from a '91. The LPE-383 was done in may of 1997 and has served me quite well. The engine has a 219 cam, 113 d port heads and a ported super ram.Sequential DFI was installed in late 2002 along with a racetronix fuel pump. It currently has 50,000 miles on it and the only repair work to the engine was a new set of lifters(one collapsed) and an intake gasket replacement. Other than that, the engine is sealed from LPE.
The transmission is a GranTrans street/strip unit. Crisp firm shifts. Pro/Torque 2800 stall lock up torque convertor. 3.45 Dana 44 converted rear end(done in aug of 2000). Rear end pieces are powdercoated and polished.
Exhaust is handled by a set of LPE long 1"3/4 coated headers, free flow exhaust going in to a 2.5" set of Borla mufflers.
The sound system has been upgraded with a Sony CDX-MP 30 mp3 cd-r cd-rw/MP3 disc player. MB quart tweeters in the door panels and in the front sills coupled with clarion 6X9's in the back.
The car has been raced on street tires and on drag radials ONLY in cool weather where optimum conditions we're present. As it can be driven daily the car ran a 12.02@118 miles per hour. On 275-40-17 BFG drag radials(traction limited) the car ran an 11.80@120.2 miles per hour(I have the time slips). This is on an engine that has seen hard use and 50,000 miles. I think that speaks highly for a durable engine that LPE built.
I'm firm at $12,000. My loss is your gain. Pics and video of the car are available. The engine/trans package alone from LPE was $16,000 so that should tell you what a deal this is(excluding paint, DFI cost etc)
Sorry to see you get rid of it for pennies.
Awesome looking, ultra-rare and fast as hell car.
Shoudl be a fun toy for whoever picks it up..
(Wish I could)..

Like I told Nuke on the phone, this is a temporary break for me from muscle cars. That is all I have owned my whole life of 33 years. I simply need to step back from modding, spending and drive a normal car. I will still attend Englishtown, cheer on fast cars and enjoy car shows etc.
This will NOT be my last performance car. I assure you, it's in the blood!

Boy, there's a shock!
Actually my only surprise is that it lasted all of 6 days on the market. Whoever the buyer is got a great deal. Good luck to him (or her). I only wish I had been faster.
Damm!!! I wish I would have seen this the day it went up. I cant believe that you would sell something as incredible as that. And something that you put so much work into... Oh well, I guess I am going to have to build my own...
