like the title says, i am currently seeking a 91-96 C4 in NJ or about a 150 mile radius of Brick (08724)
the lower the mileage the better, needs to be under 55,000, wont even consider a high mileage car, turned down many already
also, i wont consider a car that i cant see and inspect first (Read: not local), i've seen too many people get burned that way
i will consider a 1990 if its a convertible or a rare color (steel blue, turquoise, etc) thats pretty much the only way i will consider a 91 also, converitble or rare color
would prefer the car not to be torch red (too common) or white (too plain IMHO)
auto or 6 speed does not matter
would like the car relativly stock, no big mods (ZR1 rims are cool though)
i know i am asking alot, but for me to drop $15K on a 10 year old car, i think its justified
thanx for bearing with me :)
(and yes i am dead set on buying) :yesnod:
Re: Searching for 91-96 in NJ or surrounding area (Mr Mojo)
thanx Mojo
its been a while since i've been here
been playing with my camaro for a while, but i cant deny my true destiny of owning a corvette any longer :chevy
i'll definetly take a look
since its getting closer to nice weather, the problem i am seeming to have is a car either has too high of mileage for my liking OR they are asking a little too much.......a few monthes ago, in the winter, i found many that were perfect, but i wasnt ready then
do you think i would be better off waiting until the fall/winter?
Re: Searching for 91-96 in NJ or surrounding area (1991camaro)
Is the Boston, MA area too far? It's a several hours drive, but the Honda dealership I work for recently took in a trade for a '94 LT1/auto with chrome ZR1 wheels. Car has 43k and the asking price is $16k. Everything is nice on the car except that it has a small scuff on the driver's side hood right above the wheelwell. For more info and pics see my previous post titled 94 in Boston. Even the glass top, which is usually crazed, is mint. Believe me, if there was a way I could've swapped out the top for the yucky one on my own '92, I would've :) I know it's a bit of a hike, but the car's worth it and if you decide to purchase it, you can take it home right away and only make one trip. Please let me know. My email address is eschantra@msn.com or call 617-731-0100 and ask for Eric.

Re: Searching for 91-96 in NJ or surrounding area (1991camaro)
Sorry I'm not living in your area, because I have a 91 Convertible, 6-speed, with less than 35k on the odometer. It's Polo White, Red Leather interior and black top. I've replaced the Tires, Top and Battery within the last 1-2 years. This is a beautiful Vette that has been taken care of and never abused.
Re: Searching for 91-96 in NJ or surrounding area (1991camaro)
I'm in the Columbus, Ohio area and have a very nice 93 aqua automatic with 9400 miles. It is all original except a new battery. Has black 40th anniversary interior, solid color removable roof and other options. Always garaged and not driven in inclimate weather. I am getting ready to put it up for sale for around $19K, but will listen to serious offer. I can send you pics and additional info. If you are interested e-mail me at redevault@greenapple.com
Re: Searching for 91-96 in NJ or surrounding area (1991camaro)
One of my old mechanics was selling his 92(?) torquise, convertable, 6 speed. He is located in midland park. Across the street from Kings on Godwin ave.
Re: Searching for 91-96 in NJ or surrounding area (flyinace2000)
if you have any more info about that one that would be great...........
almost bought a black 95 auto today......44K miles, $14K
discovered a leaking radiator on it though and it had a rough idle...engine might have had a cam installed cuz it didnt hesitate when driven.......more headaches than i desire right now (that wasnt why it was priced that way either, dealer didnt know about these problems)
