wtb c4 in tampa bay area

I am trying to find a c4 ( 86 or newer because of the abs brakes) in the tampa bay area to replace the one my son totaled last week.The insurance company is trying to stick it to me so I only have about 9K Thanks Paul

I have had a similar instance happen when I owned a Porsche. The Adjuster booked the car out of the Kelly Blue Book and was way low of what a car can be replaced for. The insurance company has a legal responsibility to replace your vehicle and "restore you" to as close of a position before the accident as possible. They must pay to replace your vehicle of equal year make color ect... within all reasonable expectations. Otherwise they will be acting in "bad faith". I would really like to help you out with this problem if at all possible.

You can shop value of your vehicle from any objective specialist.
Sports cars and some speciality cars cannot be fairly priced from a Blue Book. For instance book value of my Porsche was 18k at the time. However they were selling in excess of 25k so eventually the insurance company had to pay the whole ammount.

Thanks for the reply's We found a 87 last weekend in fortlauderdale with 75k on it the guy was moving so we got it for 7k.It's not perfect but runs good.It
needs rear carpet and a couple weather strips and a few little odds and ends.

We will be at the track this weekend.You probably have seen the 86 vette
that got totaled out there. It was white over silver it is my son bobby's car it was pretty quick for a L98 iron head he usually ran 13.5 he took the 87 out last thursday and could only get 14.2 we will do a few mods and get it in the mid 13s before long.
