'94 Supercharged Corvette Convertible in Competition Yellow
Am I allowed to put up a what's it worth post here? I only want to sell if the price is right but let me know what you think I can get for this beast (thinking about Viper next).
1994 Corvette Convertible
Specs:
- Competition Yellow color. - Mint shape (no body mods, looks stock)
- LT1 motor
- ZF-6, Manual transmission
- ~70k miles
- Loaded with options
- FX3, tire pressure sensors, power everything w/ A/C
- Leather seats (look like C5 seats), power with lumbar
Other Mods:
- Vortech V1 Supercharger w/ 8PSI of boost (~400rwhp)
- MCleod performance clutch w/ single mass flywheel
- ATI Intercooler assembly, custom mount for Vortech
- Borla SS cat-back exhuast
- 2 sets of rims, currently Y2K chrome rims with Pirelli rubber
- Engine solidified with lowered compression
- Crane ignition upgraded
- Fuel system upgraded (42lb/hr injectors, Walbro pump, KB pump controller)
- Custom flash programming. LAPTOP INCLUDED w/ software and flashes
- GM factory hardtop painted to match
Stereo:
- Clarion 6.5" LCD display unit
- indash DVD player
- GPS tracked Anti-theft device (optional)
Misc:
- Skip shift electronically disabled
- 160 thermostat with modified fan controls
- TB bypass installed
- Always use 94+ Octane fuel
- Oil changes every 2k miles
- Cross-drilled brakes w/ KVR pads
- Not speed limited (255 MPH) or RPM limited (adjustable digital soft RPM)
What do I want $35k CDN, or $25k USD. Too much?

Its a beautiful car and it looks very tastefully done, but I think you'll have a hard time selling it at that price. Unfortunately the C4 market is a little soft right now. If I was going to spend that kind of money on a C4, I'd probably be looking for a low mileage ZR-1. I'd think probably in the 18-20k range would be more realistic, but maybe more if you find the right buyer.

Re: '94 Supercharged Corvette Convertible in Competition Yellow (IMXCITD)
Thanks alot guys. I wanted honest feedback.
Truthfully the car is worth a lot more to me and is everything I wanted in a Vette. Looks like I may have to keep the Vette for a few more years and supplement it with a Viper once the tech market picks up.

I'd definitly keep it if I was you. You have an awesome ride there and you're the only one who will really appreciate all the hard work you put into it. Its unfortunate, but you never get what you put into them :nonod:

:iagree: Why buy a C4 for $25k when you can get a nice C5 for around that price. Granted it might not be a 400rwhp monster!!

Re: '94 Supercharged Corvette Convertible in Competition Yellow (Gar)
I'd have to agree with everyone else here...you'd probably have a real hard time selling it at that price. For $25k, you could pick up a similar mileage C5, throw an intercooled magnacharger on it and have 450rwhp...
Yes, there's a certain appeal to the C4, and the comp yellow is great, but similar cars with much lower mileage are pulling about 10k less (w/o go fast goodies).

Re: '94 Supercharged Corvette Convertible in Competition Yellow
As an update, I have decided to keep the Vette and supplement (add) it with either a C5 or other project car in the distant future. Especially the way C5 prices are falling.
As for price, I did get several inquiries to buy the car at that price. Looking at the Canadian market, my price is under the going rate. It appears that the sports car market may be picking up in Canada a little quicker than the States. As an fyi, mid 90's ragtops are going for high $28k - $35k CDN stock.
So I'll keep driving and enjoying the open roads with my baby for some time longer.

IMO they are about $10K less than what you quoted.
