2000 S-10 TURBOCHARGED 2.2 ~ Possible trade for equal value 1985+ C4?
I have a 2000 S-10 pickup that I might be interested in trading, if the right person should find it interesting. It's pretty much your basic model S-10 pickup, 2.2L 4 cyl, 5-speed tranny, regular cab truck. Only difference is, mine is turbocharged. As of right now and as near as I can tell, there are only a handfull of turbocharged 2.2 gen2 S-10's out there.
The turbocharger was freshly rebuilt, and I have been driving the truck daily for about the past 4 months. It runs and drives strong and is reliable, however, the turbo should be considered an experimental project, and is not a fully or professionally developed "kit". That being said, I happen to think it's a rather professional looking installation myself. ;)
I have not had the truck to the track since I put the turbo on it, so I have no hard numbers to back any claims of power, but I will say that it is a substantial increase in power. It is currently running with 10psi of boost.
I had this on ebay a couple months ago, but decided to hang on to it for awhile longer until we got moved into our new house. Now I'm just looking for something different.
The truck was previously equipped with A/C, but was removed for installation of the turbo. The turbocharger now sits where the A/C compressor did. I still have all the A/C components though, and it could be restored if someone wanted to, presumably only for the cost of an A/C recharge. I also have extra parts I used for design & development. These include a 2.2 head with 8k miles, valve cover, intake with throttle body, injectors, fuel rail and wiring harness, an engine accessory bracket, as well as another Garrett T25 turbocharger. All parts are used.
The only difference now is that it no longer has the aluminum rims (S-10 Xtreme rims) it has OEM steel rims from a 2003 with only a few hundred miles on them.
The truck has just about 100k miles on it, and KBB is roughly between $5500 and $6000.

Well, when I ran it last year (2 passes) I got a high 18 and a low 19 with it (bone stock). I'm guestimating here that with the turbo it's probably going to be in the 15's. I *almost* got it to the track last week, but I was just too busy with other stuff.
