Is this a good Price?

I'm looking at a 1990 Convertible. 6-speed, AC, Leather interior, adjustable suspension, everything. The car has 168,000 miles on it though. The price is 9,500. According to Kelly blue book, the private party price should be around 6,500 and the retail should be around 9,500. According to NADA though it should be closer to the 11-13k range. Any thoughts? :confused:

Okay, in his defense the car has a completely new suspension, tires, and a minor rebuild on the motor. It's a beautiful car, just not sure about the price with the mileage it has on it.

I wouldnt touch it, Too many miles, Complete car would need to be redone, at some point the car just wears out. You are better off spending a little more and getting a lower milage car say around 80-90 thousand miles, then at least you know that you can put another 100K on it.

Keep looking, you will find a lower mileage car . in this price range..

Dealers can not even sell for nada.

You could get the same car with half the miles, for that price. Keep looking, there out there. :chevy
