I am re-posting an earlier ad because the seller (work colleague of mine) is now very motivated. He said to reduce the price to $10.5K OBO, and to say he is "ready to wheel-and-deal"!!!

1992 white with black leather interior. LT1 w/ automatic transmission. Has glass targa (blue) top only. Delco Bose Stereo w/ CD (Speakers/Amps recently professionally rebuilt). Aftermarket alarm system. Electronic A/C control. Power drivers seat. Everything works on the car. Just turned 100K miles. Listed below is what has been done to the car within the last year:

* New computer
* New tires - Kumhos
* New brakes
* New rear spring bushings
* New shocks
* Replaced transmission/throttle cables
* Transmission flushed and filter change
* New battery
* 4-wheel alignment
* New thermostat
* Flushed coolant system
* Changed spark plugs
* New fuel filter
* All work performed by City Chevrolet in Charlotte, NC

Car books at $13K-19K But they (the really nice ones like mine!) commonly sell

Report! I know the second owner and his family!

I have looked at many late C3's in recent months...and this car is "by far the
best" 'Driven but babied' car I have seen. First owner put the bulk of the 92K
miles on the car in it's first 7 years. Second owner of 14 years (70+ year old
named Woody) seldom drove the car and never drove in rain or at night do to fear
of someone hitting him. He refers to the car as "his baby" kept the car in the
garage and never let his kids, wife or anyone else drive it. I did not even
drive it until the sale was final. A little nutty? Maybe, but that is what it
takes to keep a car this nice for 21 years.

I am a 16 year+ master GM dealer tech and have checked this car over and the
only repairs needed have been a new cat convertor and DynoMax mufflers, new
master cyl., shocks, frt. brake job and new calipers. I also replaced plugs, all
filters and fluids, cap, rotor, plugs, wires, rear brakes, 85TPI fuel pump, 02
sensor, water pump, fan clutch, flushed cooling system and refilled with
DexCool, trans serviced, and fluids replaced with synthetic/W slick 50 etc...

We are buying a new house and need more down payment cash...as well as a more
practical driver...so the Vette must go. Maybe whomever buys it will sell it
back to me for profit in a few years? Wishful thinking!

Note: These pictures were taken when I first bought the car. The car was already
very clean...I have since completely detailed inside, outside, eng and
undercarriage, hand polished & waxed 3X, and polished the wheels (about 3+ hours
per wheel!) The car looks awesome and gets many complements.

Gene has received a few calls, but nothing serious yet. It is hard to believe that this Vette hasn't sold yet. It is a real nice '92 for the money. I haven't seen too many Vettes under $10K that are in as good a shape as this one is. Gene said if it didn't sell this time around, he was going to put her in the garage for the winter and wait until Spring.

No more "TTT" for this thread.
