Used Car lot has ZR1 for sale

I dont know what year. It look nice from the outside. Its red with a black stripe down the middle. It has black powder coated wheels.
Here is the phone number of the dealer.
I have no interest as a buyer or seller for this car. I thought I would pass the info on to anyone interested.

I got excited when I read O'fallon, I live in O'fallon Mo. I would like to take it for a test drive, maybe I will take a road trip and check it out.

It is kind of sad thinking about a rare car (ZR1) sitting in a used car lot.

Please find out if this car is a 90, last 4 digits of the vin 0833. If so, this car is bad news.

#833 was owned by a good friend of mine. He was trying to sell it through a dealership on consignment. While it sat on the lot for 8+ months, it was neglected and abused. They power washed the engine, the rest of the car etc. So some of the motor electronics are toast (most were replaced) and the interior had about 3-4 inches of standing water in it.

The dealership, wound up buying the car from him, instead of facing a leagal battle. This car was a great low mileage car, around 33k if I remember. Has a black stripe and at the time he owned it, some gold BBS looking rims.

I just tried to call the dealer but there was no answer and no machine..
it is sunday but I hoped to get a recording must be small timers!

If I remeber ill try again tomorrow

looks like it may be that ZR-1 Id bet on it
