Price Reduced! 96 Coupe/Fikse FM5's for sale
Traded In for 13K as of April 1st
Price Reduced
Price is $17,000.
96 LT1 White coupe, Torch Red interior.
Auto, all options including F45 and full power passenger and driver sport seats. No spare tire delete though. Bose System, 17x9.5 Fikse FM5's with Firehawks all the way around w/LTPWS
Only mods performed are K&N and Muffler Eliminators
I have the complete service history of the car and all maintanence has been performed by the same dealership. I also have the original window sticker and all accessories that came with the car, ie. top tool, paper, owners manual, leather case and flashlight. I am the second owner, the previouse owner was an older couple.
Current mileage is 74,000 Brand new LT1 installed by dealership under 12k ago, original engine failure occured due to camshaft breakdown that polluted oil thus causing spun bearings.
-Proper Engine Break-In procedure followed, oil changed religiously every 3k Miles with Mobil Synthetic and Mobile Filter
-New Water pump last year
- Just to let you know, the dealer replaced the Ignition module, body control module and Optispark when they weren't broke due to poor troubleshooting on their Techs part.
-New Optispark within 5k
-New Body Control Module
-New Fuel Tank and Fuel Pump
-New Power Antenna
-Tinted Windows
-New Rack and Pinion and Power Steering pump installed last month
-New Front Upper Control Arms (bushings were beginning to crack and can only be replaced by installing new control arms so they were replaced)
-4 wheel alignment performed last month when Control arms were replaced
-New Battery
-New AC Delco Rapid Fire plugs
-Front and Rear Brake pads replaced with Carbon pads last month
-New Ignition Module
-Tranny was just serviced at 60K.
-New 02 sensors
-285/40R17 Firehawk SZ50's all the way around mounted on 17x9.5 Fikse FM5's with LTPWS's
-1 New PKE
- New PKE Receiver
-Everything works as it should
-Sylvania SilverStar headlights
-Car has both tops and bag for storing the second top. Glass top has minor scratches in glass, not visible from outside but you see it when you look up while sitting inside. Looks like there was grit or somthing in bag and it scratched it as top was put it. Don't know for sure, like that when I got it, none can be caught by fingernail though and could be polished out as some members on here have done before. This is not spiderweb cracking though.
- I was rear ended 1 year ago, fiberglass and exhaust damage only. (pictures of accident damage available if requested for verification that it was only body damage.) Rear Clip was replaced as well as Fuel tank (baffles were loose causing an intermittent fuel gauge problem, used accident to justify tank replacement)
Front clip was replaced due to the fact that I was nudged in a parking lot, spider webbing paint on nose clip, had dealership convinced insurance co. that new fiberglass was needed. New GM clips used for front and rear, no aftermarket crap.

Re: 96 Coupe/Fikse FM5's for sale (SurfnSun)
Selling the wheels/tires seperate would be a last resort if I'm forced to do a trade-in or if a buyer wants the car minus the wheels, I'm not willing to sell them otherwise. Thanx for your inquiry though.

Re: 96 Coupe/Fikse FM5's for sale (96VegasVette)
I'm trading it in, will let the Fikse wheel/tire combo go for $2200 neg. + stock wheels (in good shape for trade in) and tires that are in decent shape as well. My Firehawks have about 95% tread on the front and 40% tread left on the back. Prefer to do a swap with someone who has a 96 with LTPWS so we don't have to do a dismount of tires for the sensors. I will take detailed pics for anyone seriously interested in the doing the deal.

Vette was traded in today for the huge sum of 13K  :jester
Wheels/tires are available for 1 week, $1000 plus a set of nice stock wheels and tires to put back on the car. Your trade wheels MUST have 96 style LTPWS's since mine do. Act Fast

Re: 96 Coupe/Fikse FM5's for sale (96VegasVette)
For Members in the Richmond, Va. Beach area. As a last resort I will consider giving "credit" to a fellow forum member so they can get these wheels. Take the wheels now, pay me later, screw me and I'll take out your kneecaps though, lol. You must have a decent post count and we would have to do a writtten agreemant to cover my azz. Let me state up front though, cash in hand talks, anyone who has the money up front before the week is up gets first dibs. If I get no takers on that then the first one willing to pay me at a later date can have them as long as your wheels and tires meet my criteria.
I can't offer a better deal then that. Oh yeah, interest free on the credit.
