1994 Copper
Looking for a 1994 Copper Corvette, prefer a coupe or hardtop but convertible is ok. Will consider any....thanks...p.s.....there are tales of a copper zr1 that was made for a GM executive. If that car didn’t get crushed that’s my unicorn and I want it!

I knew I saw one for sale recently, but it's a convertible - https://www.vettefinders.com/index.c...e-for-sale.htm
As I understand it, the lone copper ZR-1 was destroyed. I remember seeing it in a Corvette magazine, article. There is a member here, JThomas, who has restored a '91 and re-painted it Copper. Looks really nice on a ZR-1 for sure. These come up periodically on Ebay, Facebook (Corvettes for sale groups, Simply C-4 group, Corvettes 1984-1996 group, etc.). I'll keep watching.

Recently drove the car to Corvettes at Carlisle this year, and got to speak with Retired GM/Corvette engineer, John Heinricy and talk to a lot of others about the car.

I purchased my '94 Copper Convertible about 8 years ago. My car, like many of the copper cars, was not sold to the public, but was sold to the GM Mesa proving ground for paint testing. Copper was deemed a defective paint, so only 92 coupes and 24 convertibles were produced.
My point here is that the Copper cars are more common in Arizona due to GM selling them off after testing. I bought mine sight unseen and had it shipped in from the Phoenix area. The owner told me that he would periodically see Copper C4's around town.
I go to quite a few Corvette shows and I 've only seen one other Copper car, a coupe, the 8 years I've owned mine.
If you see one for sale, you'd better grab it as the are quite rare.
