Default 1991ZR-1 for sale modified..

Up for sale is my 91 ZR-1....I purchased this car from gateway classics back in Nov of 14....At the time car was stock and had 41,000 miles..

All modifications were done by well known ZR-1 technicians....Pete, Dempsey ( evolution motorsports) all did work on this motor so its done right !!

Fully ported w cams, OBX headers and exhaust , Hurst shifter, fidanza flywheel..Engine powder coated..Gets tons of looks at shows..Puts down 448 RWHP on mustang dyno...Have dyno sheet..

Over the last ten thousand miles I have changed fuel pumps, U joints, ignition wires, starter, coils, power antenna.....

New ceramic brake pads with slotted rotors...Brand new rubber with Nitto drag radials in rear....New rear shocks installed last week..

Car is in excellent condition and runs very strong...Adult owned not beat on...

Rear amps do not work along with seat bladders....Both pretty easy fixes from what I hear.....The front speakers work which is good enough for me...AC needs a recharge but really only used it a few times on long trios over the last few years..Heat works very well and has an aftermarket radio....Have original if you like but cassette does not work..

Car needs NOTHING mechanical....Presently has 56,300 miles....Will go up since I use the car to exercise it regularly....

Car is located in Bk NY near Verrazano bridge..Reason for selling ? Have my eye on another vette..
Present dealership would love to take this car on consignment so the price will be higher if I decide to go that way..

Some of the members on this forum can attest to the condition of this car....Please..No low ball offers..Car is really nice..

$22,500.....

I love this Z. I had the opportunity to buy it when I was looking a few weeks ago. I ended up purchasing a really low mileage original car (which I love), but I have a huge urge to upgrade it with all the things you’ve already done to yours. Knowing what I do now, I should’ve gone with yours. Super car. Excellent mods. Someone is going to get a great car. GLWS

Hey thanks for the compliments....These cars come alive when you port the heads and intake...Cams make the car very edgy and you do have a slight chop so you know something was done to it when you hear it....Like I said only reason for sale is I have my eye on another ..

I love my 90 vert and realize it will never really be worth a lot but I really get the feeling that these Zs will bring increasing money in the near future. I've seen two here that have been shipped out of the country to Europe and Australia. Kind of an indicator that car collectors around the world are recognizing the value of these cars.

The 90 and now some of the 91' s depends what month they were built are much cheaper to export overseas now.....This is due to them being over 30 years old......The overseas buyers save a lot of money due to the age of the cars now...

Hey John,

My brother, liquidforce917, sent you a PM on my behalf. Did not have a CF account so I just created one to reach out to you. His PM has my contact details in there. I'm interested in the car and would like to have a conversation if the car is still available. I would DM you but this account still can't send messages.

-Will

In Australia being 30 years old means we can register them without having to butcher them with a right hand drive conversion (which also adds about $23k USD to the cost of the car) in order to legally register them. Also, at 30 years old, cars are eligible for historic registration which is at least half of the extortionate registration fees applicable for regular registration. No "stamp duty" tax at the time of first registration in your name with historic registration either.

I just bought one of the ZR1's listed here recently, this looks like a good one, GLWS.

Under 30 yrs old they have to pay large road use taxes, mine is going to Belgium...they wont buy anything newer period.
They love C3s and 4s. Priced right they will do a quick easy transaction.
Got fair $ for mine, no hassles so far.

Nice ZR-1 and decent price as well.

I would love another one but I can't seem to bring myself to track another ZR-1 unless it's a 90.

Great cars on the track too. That big oil cooler keeps them cool as a cucumber.
