Default Looking for an Early C4

All - I’m interested in an early C4 (with the digital dash). My perfect car would be an ‘89 Convertible 6 speed, but I would consider all models from ‘85-‘89. I’m located in the Houston, TX area, but I will fly to any airport serviced by United Airlines to check out a vehicle. Due to my flexibility in styles/options I’m open to a range of pricing and would be paying with cash in hand. Best regards, KMK.

Are the wheels on the right side? My 85 had the same wheels and the fins on the wheels were opposite yours. The tires are directional I believe. It looks as though the tires on the drivers side should be on the passenger side! Correct me if I am wrong.

No need for a correction lwise4, you're not wrong. They are on backwards. The fins should be pointing forward, not rearward. They were designed that way for added brake cooling. Another possibility is that some rag-tag tire shop with NO idea what they were dealing with or what they were doing mounted the unidirectional tires backwards on the rims, so the tires could be pointed in the right direction, but the rims are not. You would have to see the tires to be sure...but any rate, something that would need to be corrected.

Mine is an 89 122,000 miles good tires, engine runs strong I have fixed a lot but did nothing cosmetically same oem paint and interior
new convertible top, new master break cylinder, new engine mounts, re built rack and pinion, new starter, headlights fixed and new bulbs, new interior lights, needs instrument panel re built ( $200 Batee) as well as more
I'd take $7,000 as is but you'd put in another grand or so in St Pete Florida
