please somebody e-mail him
I said, "they didn't make ZR1's in 89, and just cause it has ZR1 type wheels doesn't make it a ZR1...oh and they didn't make ZR1 convertibles either. Here's a pic of a real ZR1" and sent a link to a pic of mine. Was that mean? Sorry I just can't resist and hope someone doesn't get taken on it. :nonod:

I got this reply
"Daniel,
Thanks you for the feedback. It is a mistake. The car has ZR-1 wheels and is not a ZR-1 Corvette. Since people started bidding on it I cannot amend the ad. I apologize for that."

I buy and sell on ebay all the time and its easy to add a comment. I too emailed him and told him that the car does not exist.

Re: Wow! 1989 ZR-1 Convertible For Sale! (72vetteman)
I told him he can ammend the ad, and gave him the link and how to do it. I said that it could be a big problem if someone buys it thinking it is but it's not....although most people should know. So we'll see if he changes it or not. It's very easy to add to the description. He might just want more money for it so he'll let people think it is. <shrugs>
EDIT: Seems like he just did not know.... ?? He edited the ad to reflect what I told him. And he put MY name in there!!! LOL!! I am famous. HAH. :)

Still looks like a really good car ,, even with the ZR-1 mistake.
