This car was for sale on ebay before but did not reach reserve. I had spoken with the owner about it, as of course I love steel blue ZR-1's and this is 1 of 11 made in 90, vs. 43 in 91. He contacted me again recently wanting to sell. Car is in Canada, Steel Blue w/ Black int., 69k miles. $10k competition stereo, was demo car for Alpine. He said it's not show condition but great overall. Has had some minor paint work....will find out the details, but he is looking for around $17,900. Sounds like an incredible deal to me for a solid car in such a rare color. I wish I could afford it but fiance says no. ;) I would love to have a 90 and a 91. Anyway, I have pics of the car, should find out more info tomorrow, will post contact info then once I get the phone #.

The car was traded by the second owner on a Z06. It has 4.10 gears and a single mass flywheel, and borla exhaust. Clean Carfax has been run. Believed to be one of 3 or 4 with black interior, so pretty damn rare. I would love to have this car!!!

Oh, by the way, THERE ARE NO EXPORT TAXES from Canada!!! Nothing. Just shipping for the car is the only additional charge. The car was sold on ebay but the buyer was deadbeat.

I know before he traded it in, the owner had it up on ZR1.net for $40,000 Cdn, which is about $25,500 US. So someone is going to get a deal!!!!

:lol: I am not expecting a dime. Heck, all I have done is just put a couple posts up to help the guy out. He was not aware of the forum or he'd probably have just done it himself. It just really piqued my interest since it's my true dream car (I wanted a 90 steel blue but I'll settle! :D) and the guy seems nice. I had written him when it was on ebay to comment on how cool it was. I would love to have it. But anyway, all I am out is about 8 minutes of posting time. ;) I am just too nice I guess....sometimes gets me in trouble! :lol:

I wrote him a couple of times with detailed questions when it was on ebay months ago.. had very short e-mails and didn't answer my questions.. I was turned off by that and moved on to a 90 red/red...


anyway for 17,900 I prob would have bought that!! and its got 4.10's, single mass, chrome 5 spokes, and a aftermarked exhaust... all the things I want to do to my 90!!

I think its a good deal!!
