Default 1990 ZR1 less than 19,000 miles

Up for sale is one of the cleanest and lowest mileage "King Of the Hill" ZR1 corvettes you will find!! It has been garaged since new and hasn't been driven hard, in the rain or any bad weather to speak of...If you are looking for an investment grade ZR1 or just one of the most reliable super cars ever, this is the car for you!

The condition of this specific ZR1 is excellent, I would rate it a 9/10. The paint shines brilliantly and the only imperfections are a very few pinhead paint chips on the exterior, a chipped piece of plastic trim around the drivers side electric seat switch molding (which I have the chipped piece) and the cup holder covers spring is missing and won't close completely (I'm currently attempting to source a replacement). The interior is in great shape with no cracking or tears in the leather, the dash is in perfect condition as are the door panels.

This specific ZR1 was ordered with both tops, the matching painted targa top and the glass top. I don't believe the glass top has ever been on the car and it still has the production tape on the back of top as seen in one of the pics. The Corvette socket wrench for removing the tops is included and is in the center console. EVERYTHING works as it should and there are no warning lights on, it doesn't smoke or drip any fluids..it simply performs and drives as you would expect a sub 19,000 mile car to!!

Included in the sale is the original "Pizza Box" which contains a hard bound owners pamphlet, a matching owners manual and a VHS tape. Also included is a leather bound ZR1 case with the original owners name and VIN engraved on a plaque. Inside is the original purchase contract from 12/16/89, the original window sticker, a copy of the original owners title, pre delivery inspection paperwork and a stack of miscellaneous items from over the years!

This ZR1 simply has fantastic documentation to go along with an absolutely fantastic running machine. I'm sure I am forgetting something and I could ramble on and on, if you have ANY questions feel free to email, text or call anytime at (602)697-6462.

$25,700

Ive been looking at the C4 and ZR1 market for a few months now and both are definitely a buyer's market. You should post on the ZR1.net forum for a good price recommendation. Those guys are Z experts

Great looking Z btw GLWS

It's not out of line for what they originally cost and the condition/miles your car has. But.....GM made later Corvettes that match and/or exceed the ZR-1s performance for far less money, and those used are cheaper and newer.

It's a small market of buyers for your car. No offense at all but you may get the money you want but it might take a while.

Three years ago at the spring show in Carlisle there was a red over tan 90 ZR-1 with 17k miles for $17,000. One owner and the dealership he bought it at originally was selling it at the show. Original owner traded it for a new GS.

Deals are out there.

If you don't want to drop the price just keep enjoying it.

I am in the market but prefer black on black.

Thanks..I'm not opposed to dropping the price a bit. If you are interested although it is red, keep me in mind.

You have a very nice Z, and I love red over gray.

It is unfortunate that our ZR-1's have not held their value

If I had the cash now, I would be drooling over yours. I hope to purchase a 90 ZR1, in two years. I hope prices are still down (for my sake) then, when my slush fund is ready! Consider Ebay, tracking prices there nicer ZR1's seem to be going between 18K and 22K.

I am in the same boat as you!
I am trying to sell my 1990 ZR-1 with 22,300 miles and it is not getting much interest. I have spend $300 on ebay and other sites. My price is down to $22,000.
I decided if it sells great, if not I will keep driving it.

Its just because a person can buy a low mileage 2002 thru 2004 C5 Z06
for 22grand and up. And myself and many others would rather buy the C5 Z. So many improvements made each year they build the Corvette I know after owning a new 02 then a new 04 C5 Z06 they are wonderful corvette's.

One guy on the C5 section couldn't even sell his 18,000 mile 02 Z for 22 this year.

Its just taste in cars for different people. Takes a long time to sell a specialty car.

I'm sure both of the ZR1's you guys have are very nice.. someone will buy them.

It's probably because they made to many of them for too long. The only C4s that still bring strong money are Grand Sports especially the red interior convertibles.
