Repairs scheduled for 14/15 winter
- Engine Front main seal leaks 5 drops of oil on floor after returning from a trip.
I have bought the special hub pulling tool to do this.
- ASR / ABS lights intermittently on. I don’t believe there is a mechanical problem. I think it’s a pinched wire or dirty connector.
- Front brake discs have a little warpage. It’s real minor. (my wife doesn’t notice.. but I do)
- Change fuel filter
- Clean engine compartment
- Clean carpet
- Detail and wax paint

This car is mechanically solid. I've just not had a chance to detail it yet. I honestly think the ASR problem is only a pinched / chafed wire. Brakes bled perfectly and everything works well when the lights are off.
This C4 is in great shape. Don't be afraid to fly in and drive it home.

I forgot to mention, the previous owner was convinced it was running too hot and had a chevy dealership replace the T-Stat and water pump. I've confirmed it runs at normal temps. By letting it get hot w/AC off and on. (using a infrared temp gauge and the digital gauge to confirm)

I'm 4th. 3rd owner was an older gent who bought it w/10k on the clock. He passed away a few yrs ago and his children didn't want it. I bought it from them and have taken care of all the mechanicals. If it doesn't sell this fall I'll detail it over the winter.
