1994 Admiral Blue M6 Track Car - Located Near Chicago, IL
After long consideration, I've decided to put my 1994 Admiral Blue 6-speed track car up for sale. I purchased it in September of 2011 from a fellow Corvette Forum and NASA member. Here was his original For Sale thread: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c4s-...ar-1994-a.html
Here are the basic details about the car:
I love the car, but I'm just not using it enough to justify keeping it around anymore - plus I have to store it in a buddy's garage because I have no room in my own! It is a fully sorted and turnkey track car. It has a clear IL title, but you probably wouldn't want to drive it on the street because it has no side windows and no HVAC. Here's what I invested in the car after I purchased it from the previous owner:
Here are a few photos:
Between my purchase price and the items listed above I'm in to the car for about $10,500. That being said, I certainly don't expect to get that price! I'm asking $7,495 OBO for the car as it sits now with both sets of wheels.
Please feel free to reach out to me if you're interested
Here are the basic details about the car:
- Just over 54,000 miles on the chassis
- Just over 15,000 miles on the motor
- Brembo Gran Turismo front brakes
- Stainless steel brake lines
- Hawk HT-10 pads
- Custom cold air intake
- External oil cooler
- Bilstein HP shocks
- Wheel studs
- Roll bar
- Custom vinyl stripes and numbers

Here's what I invested in the car after I purchased it from the previous owner:
- $2300 at Blackdog Speed Shop to fully sort it out
- $900 for Corbeau FX1 seats and double locking sliding rails (both driver and passenger)
- $100 for custom Corbeau covers to protect the seats if it rains
- $400 for TeamTech 6-point harnesses (they're expired - but fine for HPDE use)
- $400 for PCMforless tuned ECU
- $1000 for TSW Nurburgring forged wheels (18x10.5 all around)
- $100 for spacers for the wheels above (1/2" and 1/4")
- $250 for a Momo steering wheel and quick release adapter
- $100 for a used Camber Brace
- $80 for a cool little custom Tyvek cover I found that covers the just greenhouse portion of the car when parked in the paddock (http://capoptop.com/c4coupe.htm)

That is one gorgeous track car, good price on it too.
Any idea what roll bar that is? I like it, think I might get one of those for mine.

Not sure, but I believe it was custom fabricated... I'll see if I can find out previous owner. Thanks for the compliments though! As for the price, I'm trying to be realistic - but it is a nice car

ok, i have no idea why this car even appeals to me, but it looks cool.
1. can you legally drive it on the streets?
2. ok, if it was a race car, how fast did it go?
for some reason i'm curious...i have no idea why, but it's a cool car!!!

As far as how fast it goes, are you talking lap times or top speed? If lap times, which track?

i had another question, re: HP of engine,
but looked in the link of old ad and it states: 330HP
so ? answered.
did you sell your car?
i will say, looks-wise, this is about one of the coolest cars i've looked at.
i have no idea why a corvette race car appeals to me.
maybe it's the little kid in my who played w/ matchbox cars as a kid, don't know....
just curious or a bump for you....

I'd estimate 330HP at the crank. It dynoed at 265 RWHP on a Dyno Dynamics dyno before the LT headers and tuned ECU were installed. I specify the type of dyno because the Dyno Dynamics dynos are known as "heartbreaker dynos" because they usually read about 12% lower than Dynojets. A Dynojet would put at 297RWHP which would put it around 335HP at the crank if you figure 13% for drivetrain loss. Hope that makes sense
The stripes are vinyl - the car came to me like that. It's a sharp car and a very capable track machine, I just don't have the time for it
