FS: 1987 DRM Coupe (A4, Z52, Loaded), 60k miles, Good Condition
Okay, after some pondering I need to free up some space in my garage.
1987 Corvette, Dark Red Metallic with gray leather interior. Sport seats, A4, 3.07 performance axle, Z52 suspension, blue tinted top. Only aftermarket component is an Eclipse 12 disc CD changer mounted in the rear storage tray, with remote and FM transmitter.
Car has approximately 59,xxx miles (still driven on nice weekends). I am the third owner, have owned for 12+ years. I have had a lot of vettes over the years, and this one has given me very few issues overall.
This year I have replaced the brakes, fluids, and had a tune-up done, also replaced the ABS controller. Heat and A/C work well, no check engine codes, the digital dash works fine. L98 engine cranks, idles, pulls, and cruises well at highway speeds. Suspension is fantastic.
Interior is in good shape overall, with the typical issues from a C4 this old. The leather sport wheel is showing some cracking (see pictures), as is the driver's seat (typical of C4s) and the driver's window outer weather seal. Nothing unusual. Other weatherstripping is in good shape
Exterior is Dark Red Metallic, and overall in very good shape for the car's age. It has the usual stone chips and a couple smear spots (small) on the front bumper, and there is some discoloring/oxidizing on the driver's side headlamp housing. A couple scratches and dings otherwise on the body. I keep it washed and waxed, and it looks great. Car is always garaged.
Mechanically, its in good shape. Like many C4s, it blows a small amount of blue smoke at start-up due to the valve stem seals hardening. The electric mirrors and cigarette lighter dont function, and the radio antenna does not retract. Receives fine. Radio sounds good.
Let me know if you have any questions. Located in Chicagoland.
Asking $6,500.

bump for a really nice looking vette at a very reasonable price!
love to give bumps to people who still price their vettes fairly even when it is a nice low mileage one, that should sell quickly. if only you were in california!
