Default FS: 92 Convertible 6-Speed 40K Miles

I am starting the process of selling my 1992 Polo green with tan top and tan interior convertible. It has just under 40,000 miles and is completely stock and in great condition. Pictures to come soon if it ever stops raining.

I am the third owner of the car and have had it approximately 4 years, I have the window sticker, maintenance records for the car and the receipts for the A/C conversion, pop-up window motor gears being replaced, and new weatherstripping for the doors, new master cylinder, etc.

Asking $12,900 for it but am open to reasonable offers or interesting trades. The reason I'm selling, is I'd like to get a hardtop C5 or maybe the right F-body and I don't have room for both.

Issues with the car:

The drivers side pop-up headlight will need a new gear in the next year or so as it is starting to take an extra turn to catch.

The speakers on the passenger side do not work and I believe a component of the speakers will need to be rebuilt.

The passenger side needs a new door-ajar switch (probably). The door-ajar light was on and I popped the switch out an 1/8 of an inch on the passenger door and the light has not come on in a month, but I don't know for sure that its fixed.

Let me know if you have any questions, and I will get pictures up as soon as I can.

I have a 72 Chevelle Malibu with a 4 speed to trade. Any interest? If so let me know and I will send pictures and specs.

The C 4 market is tough right now isn't the best time to sell a c4vert, I have had mine up for sale for a few months now, lots of tire kickers but not much else.

Most are looking for one of those perfect $5K verts you know the one that has 10K miles still wrapped in plastic.

Nice looking ride, I wish you well and a bump to the top.

Keep in mind at these prices you are starting to bump into low end 100K+ C5's that still have a ton of life left in them.
I am looking at C4's but if I go into the $13K+ range I start looking at low end C5's, so I think your market is pretty narrow.

I agree on it being a narrow market, but the pricing has to start somewhere and money talks. This car is relatively unique from what I can tell with the low miles, manual transmission and documented history.

As far as the high-mileage C5's go I think you run into different issues that matter to some people more than others such as paint may not be as prisitine just from being outside all the miles not from lack of care, seat wear, and other things even if the drivetrain is still solid. It all depends on people's preferences.

I'm open to offers.

You definitely have a beautiful car. You just have to be patient for the right person to come along.

You mentioned an F-body trade? Here is '95 w/ 60k miles. Everything works and clean enough to eat off the under carriage!

I'm really looking for a ls1 or LS2 as the next car. I didn't know they made Firehawk convertibles in 95, that is a nice ride.

Beautiful car, if I hadn't just bought a 1973 and 1993 I would be all over this. Who knows, maybe my next Savage Arms P.O. will come in soon and I can pick up a 3rd Corvette if this is still available.

The car is still available, I haven't offered it up for sale locally or on cars.com yet as I'm not in a hurry to sell it and it isn't really convertible season anyways. If anyone would like any more pictures of anything specific please let me know.

I have a 96 LT4, polo green, flow masters, new tires, ZR1 wheels, new window tint with 53,000 but it's not for sale. That's why it's called "BucketList". My son is looking for a red Trans Am or Firehawk. Convertible is ok.

That's an great looking vert and exactly what I'm looking for. Ive got my restored 85 mustang GT on eBay right now hoping to have that fold or traded by weeks end. So if you still got it we'll talk.
