Default 90 6spd, red/red conv, Sold

I'm thinking of buying a used 2014 when and if I get the opportunity, I'm gathering cash to make the move. SOLD

I bought this car off the 2nd owner here on the forum earlier this year, I spent a few months getting it right.

In that time I have worked at bringing the car back as close to the way it used to be back in the day.

The car itself was a good start, I picked it up in fla @ 39K miles, the car now has 45 and change.

I know I'm not going to get all my money back out of it but I'm not taking a bath on it.

I'm asking $11.0 with 2 sets of wheels, the 90 wheels have Yokohama's that are about 70%.

The Zr1's are polished and wearing Sumotomo's 275/40/17's.

This car has just about every option for 90, except the hardtop, luggage rack, and engine block heater.

It does have FX3 Ride control that works perfectly, a new OEM clutch(Carolina Clutches) and a very nice working black tag ZF6 transmission, and working Low tire pressure sensors in the stock wheels.

Another thing this car has is a lighter rear than most, it was ordered with a 3.33 axle, but it doesn't deter from it's out of the hole power at all, it surprised me how quick it was on one occasion, when I had to make a quick move to avoid getting hit.

All fluids have been changed, new radiator hoses, and any hose that was not supple were replaced.

The intake was removed and replaced to stop a 23 year oil leak just about all the L-98's leaked oil from the back of the intake.

The distributor mod was replaced along with most of the engine sensors, chasing the original idle problem..

I spent many hours making this car what I think other corvette lovers like myself want, that is making what is there work like it used to.

The car still has a non working air bag if you know anything about 90's and air bag problems you will understand.
I have removed the sensors cleaned and used silicone grease on the mounts also cleaned all the grounds related but never tried to clear the codes.

I think it's a nice car for the money it doesn't smoke or leak, it runs smooth unlike most c4's it doesn't need much more to make it a very nice car, but as is it is still a very nice driving car.

I seriously think this would make a great collector car because of it's originality and lack of rust on every nut and bolt like most 24 year old cars.

Good luck with you sale, very nice car but in todays market these cars are not bring in what they deserve. With that in mind you may want to consider a price reduction.

why are you selling it after you put all that time and money into it? A little more back story than just wanting to move on would help ease people's minds.. As a buyer, these situations scare me. not logical unless you enjoy wasting time/money.. Sorry, just skeptical.. I've seen people do things like that in the past and realize it has something much worse wrong with it and just try to get out of it.. thanks in advance..

I would sell the car only to move into a Zo6, if things work out I would keep this car if I could.

True I did put plenty of time and money in this car way more money than I have it listed for, but you would have to know me and my history with corvettes and other cars to understand me.

In my lifetime I have owned over 400 cars many of them corvettes, I buy and sell cars as sort of a hobby and sometimes I even make a buck.

Then I take the money and buy another car and start all over again.

If this car does not sell it will not break my heart, I have never had a c4 in the condition this car is in.

The brake parts on a c4 of this age are normally covered in rust, so rusty most people paint them, on this car they had a slight tinge of rust like you would find on a rotor.

The underside is like a new car, every bolt I removed including the exhaust bolts, turned off like it was a new car

I think it's time for a spring sale $10.5 it comes with a set of new tires on saw blades as well as the stock wheels with the low tires sensors that are working.
