1994 396 LT1 Six Speed Dark Red / Grey
Price reduced to $15,500.
1994 LT1 Corvette 396 CID Six Speed - 520HP / 520TQ
Purchased my 94 Corvette LT1 from the original dealer, Vandergriff Chevrolet in Arlington, TX, on May 16, 1995. As noted on the original window sticker and build sheet, it was built with the extremely rare combination of Dark Red Metallic and Light Grey Leather interior with the Six Speed Manual Transmission. Very few LT1 C4 Corvettes were delivered with these options. The car currently has 63,300 well maintained miles. The Dark Red Metallic has been repainted once and is in excellent condition. The interior is near mint with new Al Knoch leather seat covers and carpets. The Car has been serviced regularly since purchased in 1995.
Engine Performance Modifications
In August 2001 with 46,000 miles, the car was sent to Motorsport Technologies Inc. {MTI] in Houston, TX to build and install a 396 CID LT1 engine. The engine came with billet caps, Lunati rods. 4340 forged steel Callies crank, SRP forged aluminum pistons, Melling oil pump and Clevite 77H bearings. A mild Comp Cams 230/236 XE Cam was installed with the rebuild. MTI was the top Corvette performance shop in the country at the time. They were well known for building the 396 Thunder chicken Pontiac Firebird written up in GM High-Tech Performance magazine. It has over 50,000 flawless miles on the engine in the most recent article. My 396 has performed flawlessly for over 17,000 miles.
In August 2009 with 59,000 miles, AFR 195cc LT1 Competition cylinder heads were installed on the 396. They came with 2.080 Race Int Valve and 1.600 street Exh valve, milled to 55 CC’s. New LS7 Corvette lifters, Comp Cams Ultra Pro Magnum Roller Rocker Arms, Arizona Speed & Marine 58mm Throttle Body, and Lloyd Elliott ported LT1 intake were also installed at this time. The engine has Hooker 1 3/4 Long Tube headers, Taylor Spiro Pro Plug Wires, LT4 Timing Chain, new water pump, upgraded and modified Opti Spark with Northstar Delteq multi coil ignition and NGK TR55 spark plugs. Also has LT1 Crank and Alternator Underdrive Pulley kit. CR estimated at 11.8:1.
Other Modifications
- 4.09 Ratio Rear Axle installed by Pyle Brothers in Houston.
-Custom 3 inch exhaust with interchangeable high flow cats/off road pipes and Power Effects tuneable mufflers.
-Canton 7.5 high flow oil pan and Walboro high flow fuel pump.
-Exotic Muscle Transmission Safety blanket
-GM 96 Corvette 17 x 9.5” and 17 x 11” Grandsport wheels.
-GM 96 Corvette Grandsport fender flares, fender hash marks, and LT1 stripes.
-Spec 3+ performance clutch with SMF, Hurst Short Shifter, Harlan shift light
- HAL adjustable front shocks
-LT1 cold air box
-Goodyear Eagle F1 275/40/17 and BFG 315/35/17 tires.
-Moe Horsepower professional dyno tuning
The car dyno’s at 440 RWHP and 440 RWTQ. Performance is very similar to the C6 Z06 Corvette.

Have had a few questions on the switch near the console. It is a manual fan switch which does help keep the temp down. Not a nitrous switch.

Fall price reduction. New price $18,000.
This is a new 1994 that can win a trophy at your local car show and keep the new corvettes in your rear view mirror on the way home.

Good luck with the sale Dean. Been a long time. I am sure the car is as in immaculate condition as it always has been!
