1992 Black, 21K orig miles, auto in PA
I'm trying to help a friend of mine sell her 1992 Corvette. The car has 21,000 original miles and is in excellent condition. The car is black on black with the glass roof. Cool thing about the history of the car is that my Dad was the second owner and I actually went with him back in 1994 (I think that was the year) to pick it up. When he bought it, it had 10,000 miles on it. He sold it to a friend of his in 1999 to get his first C5 and at the time the car had 16,000 miles on it. His friend had owned it since and unfortunately was killed in a motorcycle accident last summer. His wife didn't really want to part with it because he loved the car so much, but she has decided the time has come to let the car go. Today was the first time I have seen the car in 14 years and amazingly it literally still smells new. It is all original except for 4 new Bridgestone Potenza's (275 40 17's all around) put on last year right before the owner passed away. The car has been extremely well cared for and always serviced and treated like a Corvette should. I got to take it for a quick ride today so I could report how the car runs and it runs very strong...just like how I remembered. It brakes straight and tight and the suspension feels like it did back in 1994 when I first rode in it. It has all the bells and whistles. Power seats that look brand new. No rips, tears or scratched in the leather anywhere. The carpet is like new. I tried showing any defects I could find on the car in pictures so hopefully they came out okay. Wanted to add a note that $12,500 is her asking price. She is definitely willing to negotiate. There is an interested local buyer so I will update this if the car does sell.
